I'm shipping my box Friday to Beach Club. Here is what I am sending. Anything else you think I should send?

Diapers, wipes, swim diapers
pool toys and swimmies
sunblock
misting fans
toilletries (everything from hair gel to toothpaste)
dress up costumes
cereal
raisins
goldfish crackers
batteries
glow sticks for the parade
pop up hamper for laundry
antibacterial wipes
bug wipes
ponchos
mickey ears
autigraph book
refillable disney mugs

I know there is more, I just can't think of it.

Brita Water filter & pitcher
Beer & wine opener
adult beverages
diary type book to write a log of each trip - I use a black & white composition notebook. It should be fun to look at in 25 years

I'd love some insight on your process. How big is your box? How far in advance do you send it? What carrier are you using? What's the approximate cost? Has it gone smoothly in the past, or are there any problems to be aware of?

I'm packing for our new OL this trip, and still trying to decide if I should box it up and mail it down or lug it on the plane with us in an extra suitcase or two. This may be the last time we ever get to fly with 2 checked bags, so we could go that route, but it's so much to haul, I keep thinking it'd be easier to send a box. But then I worry that the box won't arrive in time, or will be lost, etc. since I've never sent a box before. We leave in 3 weeks, so I need to make a decision pretty soon.

Anyway, to answer your question - for our "Florida Box" (AKA Owner's Locker) - I have so far amassed:
small steamer latte machine
Starbucks coffee beans
Pure water filter
breakfast bars
first aid kit (bandaids, neosporin, etc)
mini medicine kit (tums, tylenol, pepcid, etc)
laundry kit (detergent, stain remover, dryer sheets)
ponchos
light sticks
toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc)
curling iron
kids' trading pins
ziplock bags
fanny packs
sand bucket/small water toys
king size sheet set
"household necessities" kit (tape, scissors, sharpie, pens, notepad)
I think that's about it. It doesn't sound like much on paper, but it sure looks like a lot on my bedroom floor lol!

I've only sent a box once. It cost around 25 dollars. I am using a box that I got from disney online after I placed an order. I was told by others on the DIS to send it one week in advance and send it via UPS. We are sending ours tomorrow (FRI) and we arrive next Sunday. Last trip, the box was delivered to our room 5 mintues after we checked in.

On the box I will put the name on the reservation as well as the ressie # and checkin date as well as the address to the BCV.

I think I am also going to add some things to decorate the room. I saw others on here doing it and it seems fun. So I guess I will need to add scissors and tape to my list.

I am going to buy a prepaid sticker to send the box home too. Some of the stuff will be used and not coming back but this way I have extra room to send stuff home. You can just drop it off at the front desk of your hotel on your way out the door.
