What do you pack to carry all day?

I usually just make sure I have some snacks, a water bottle, money (just incase needed), chapstick and hand sanitizer. I only carry along the poncho if it's going to rain.

Very interesting to see what people carry with them.

Now we are stroller free (YAY), for 2A2C we carry a drink bottle, hand sanitizer, tissues, healthy snacks, camera, small amount of money and no purse (if we are staying on site as we can book everything up to the room-awesome), and that's it I think...

Tickets and pins are on my lanyard.

Hats and sunglasses are worn, a jumper/coat is tied around our waists and popped on or off when needed.

We have not been in Summer though with the children, only October and December so have not had to worry about the heat at all.

We got our lanyards on our very first trip through Get Away Today. They came with the package. I still use them, kind of a memento. You can also buy a lanyard in the "travel" section at Walmart where the suitcases are, or through Amazon or somewhere similar. I haven't seen any for sale in the parks for some reason.
I am a bit (OK, a lot) paranoid about losing our tickets, so if they are in my lanyard, I can see them at a glance when I need to check on them. I keep the lanyard tucked inside my hoodie when I am wearing one, as we usually go in February.

Now that DS (15) is bigger than me, he carries his own water bottle (on a strap), his phone and wears a light jacket or long-sleeved shirt in the mornings. I carry a Vera Bradley Disney print backpack -in the backpack I usually have a small wallet/coin purse which carries some cash, credit cards, park passes and one traveler's check; also hand sanitizer, sunscreen, lip balm, sun glasses, phone and/or camera and folding brush. I also usually wear a light layer in the morning. I carry my own water bottle on a strap as well. We usually go back to our hotel in the mid afternoon. In the evenings, I usually bring the same stuff, maybe leave out the water bottle in favor of a bottled soda which I toss when I'm done.

We don't bring extra clothes anymore. If we get dirty, we stay dirty until we return to the hotel.

We try to plan the days we will ride Splash Mountain or Grizzly River Rapids and bring either swim clothes or rain ponchos for just those days. Then I might bring a little bit bigger backpack but not a full sized one.

HTH!

Have you stopped
to consider about riding splash or Grizzly Rapids when your dirty? Might want to think about carrying a small bar of soap too, or it could be the liquid kind. That way you can wash yourself and your clothing at the same time. ;) No, really man! :faint: lol
Then just walk around the park long enough under the open sun and you'll dry off pretty quickly. Of course, one may always speed up the drying process, by using a hot air hand dryer. I believe some of the restrooms have that kind of thing. I don't remember. Also, Riding the teacups is a good example of becoming uniformally dried out. If you visit the Haunted Mansion it will take a long time to dry out. Believe you me.
Why I once, no, actually twice, saw a family do exactly that sort of thing. They were brand spanking new visitors and were unclear of many a thing. Both families were from a town whose name I do not recognize and cannot pronunciate, therefore, cannot repeat. Anyway,
It took them a darn good long time to dry. So, I suggested riding the teacups. Next thing you know, after a few go arounds, they were nice and dry again and very comfy. Including their shoes and socks too.

Have fun! :)

Just some helpful and friendly tips and advice.

Lol

;)

It really can work!

water, icepack, snacks ( apple slices, veggies, cheese, goldfish, cookies) hand sanitizer wipes

I honestly can't remember what I packed last time and that was back in August, lol.

This time, I plan to bring a backpack for the first time. I'm going to stuff it with...
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Sunblock
  • Smaller wallet
  • Bottled water
  • Light sweater
  • Sunglasses
  • Snacks
That's it, I think.

Great to hear what everyone packs. Something I would not have thought about until now.

Just a quick question, are all of the rides bag friendly?
Cheers
Adam

I cannot think of any rides where my backpack was an issue. Some you may want to hold on a little tighter than others if it doesn't fit in the provided pouches (such as Indy and Space Mountain), but my bag went with me everywhere.

What I bring....
Snacks
Water
Hand sanitizer
Wipes
Tissues
Wallet
Sunglasses
Hat
Sweater (tie around my waist if it's too bulky to fit)
Change of socks
Ponchos (if possibility of rain)
Lotion
Chapstick
Camera
Hair ties
