What do you pack for a cruise that you don't pack for a regular vacation

Comfort but casual....I packed alot of Khaki shorts and tank tops for the days and nice (comfy) dresses for dinner. I have heard people say that pants suits work because you can bring one pair of black pants and pair it with several shirts however, I think that if you stick with dresses, you still look presentable and you have more room for a growing belly during dinner!

Nicer clothes for all 3 of us (me, DH and DD) b/c of dinner and photo ops, I think. I like wearing dresses every night, esp after being in the sun most of the day -- and the 2 desserts every night.

An abundance of lime-neon green t-shirts (I'm sitting here in my DIS shirt so it occurred to me that I don't usually wear these shirts elsewhere).

I agree with the highliter. I used 2 different colors to hilite stuff for me and Pookie so I wouldn't forget places we needed to be, but could tell the difference if it was for her or me by the color.

One thing that I did, was instead of getting a bunch of one's to use for tipping, I got a roll of those golden dollar coins from the bank, and would give them out as tips (just make sure they know it's a dollar and not a quarter). The crew really seemed to like them because they were different and many of them had never seen them before.

Also I always pack some kind of extension cord with extra plugs in it because there just never seems to be enough plugs in those rooms.

I like to bring a ziplock bag with me because then if there are wet clothes that have not dried yet from swimming, or other stuff the day before, I can put them in there and it doesn't get everything wet. I will not spend the time to sit in the laundry room and wash/dry stuff, I'm on Vacation!!!!
