What do you pack for a cruise that you don't pack for a regular vacation

I am redoing, and modifying my packing list daily.....I am so sure I am going to forget something. What items do you pack for a cruise that you wouldn't have packed if you where just doing the parks??

Thanks

Kim

Solid air freshener for the bathroom to fight the sewer smell. :crazy2:

We didn't have any trouble with sewer smell, so we didn't need the air freshener.

I pack a lot more "Nice" clothes for a cruise than I do for a trip to the parks! I also pack more swimsuits since we usually only swim once or twice when we are at DisneyWorld, but we seem to be in our suits at some point every day on the cruise.

Never needed air freshner either, and if I had found an odor in my cabin, I would have THEM take care of it.
I second the mention of nicer clothes than I would take on other vacations, I have never taken a suit on on vacation for anything but a cruise.
Never had time to swim except at Castaway Cay, so my swimsuit sat in the drawer for 6 days unused.

I pack two or three swimsuits for each of us.

Also..I get these great little terry cloth short outfits at Pennys for going back and forth to spa in.

Formal wear, dresses, a different pair of shoes for dinner each night (yes, I pack tons of shoes, but wear each pair :teeth: ) evening handbags, tux and suit for DH, and dresses for DD. Needless to say, we take twice as much luggage on DCL than we do for the parks.

Laundry Detergent. Even though I pack enough clothes for both day and night, partway through cruise I get out of sync and inevitabley have to do a load or two.

More pants/shorts with elastic....I eat so much more on a cruise than on any vacation!!!

A small travel clock with an indigo light. I don't like the clocks in the room and sometimes need to get up in the night and the little light helps.

Also much nicer clothes and more clothes than I would for a WDW vacation.

Laynards to hold our KTTWs.

An extra tote bag for taking things off the ship on the last morning (after your suitcases are picked up, you need something to put stuff in, and usually our carry on bag is more full than it was when we came on, so an extra tote bag helps with all the little things we forgot to put in the suitcases).

A folder for all the navigators and papers you get onboard.

I second this....especially on the 7 days cruises. Also bring a roll of quarters!

My Mickey ID lanyard. I'll be using it next week on the Pride of America in Hawaii.

LESS SHOES-who's looking at your feet? :goodvibes i only take one pair of black dress shoes that go with everything.

seriously-i take any and all perscription and non perscription meds (cuz they cost too much on board), floatation devices for the kids (not available nor for saie on board), and a light weight robe or cover (disney does not provide nor do they let you remove from spa).
