What form of identification do we need now the fly? I was not sure if we needed Birth Certificates.

Adults need government issued photo ID.

Children (17 and under) do not need any form of ID if flying domestically.

I have always carried copies of my children's birth certificates just in case. I have only been asked once and that was shortly after 9/11 for them. Never since.
