Granted that we have DVC and get to go to Disney more regularly than many....but...still I miss WDW so much when I'm not there....tonight in particular I miss...

How great sitting down on the monorail feels when my feet are tired..

BTW my DH looked at me like I was crazy when I came up with this a few minutes ago, but I was wondering what in particular you are missing right now??:grouphug:

I totally agree with you. The more we go, the more I miss it when we get home. Right now I would have say that I am missing my favorite snack, popcorn......

Cyndi

The hot tub at the Villas pool, Wilderness Lodge.:lovestruc

Always missing the Adventurer's Club...but more pragmatically...sitting in Epcot, in France, on the fountain ledge drinking champagne with my DH. :lovestruc

Oh these are all so good. Agreed that it is all about the feeling the family has while we are there, the lack of stress that enters our day.....keep them coming, you all are making me smile!

I miss skipping lunch in anticipation of that awesome Ohana dinner! :thumbsup2
I actually promised DS10 that I would try to do a Ohana dinner night at home and copy/cook the potstickers, wings, shrimp and steak etc.

I miss deciding what ride or show to do next.

I miss coming back to Kidani past midnight after an amazing day at the parks.

I miss sitting in the Fantasmic theater, waiting excitedly with DH, my boys and my little girl.

The smells and background music. Everyplace should have background music :thumbsup2

NO COOKING and a solid week of the 3 of us together 24/7

only 43 days for us!

Too funny that you should post this... I was just thinking this afternoon that it seems like forever until we get back there (ok so it's just a little over 2 months). We usually go once a year, but I am thinking of telling my husband that we have to start going twice a year. To wait out an entire year just kills me! Thank goodness for the DisBoards and for those who understand my impatience!

What do I miss the most? BOMA BOMA BOMA! I swear I would pay for a plane ticket just to eat there tonight. It's our first dinner reservation the night we arrive and the last breakfast we eat the day of our departure. I can't wait!

I miss the ducks. I love the ducks at Disney. Even the ones at AK that try to steal my funnel cake and bite my toes.

I love the lobby of the resort we're checking into. Sitting in that lobby with all the joy and anticipation of the glorious vacation that is all ahead of us. Hearing the words, "We're all set, let's go!" And so it begins......:cloud9:

"That feeling" you get...
That feeling you can only get @ the most Magical Place on Earth.

My DW & I trun 50 this year, and when we "go home" we never feel our age!!!

Robin & Angel "D" :thumbsup2

Watching the train open the MK, and holding my DD6 hand while walking slowly down main street.. Stopping for a hug, and watching everyone around me rush, and know I don't have to. Smelling the popcorn, seeing gaint hands waive at me, hearing the music that all to calls you in with emotions. Just truely enjoying the walk, and amazed by how it makes me remeber why I work so hard all the days of the year I am not there.

I think the biggest diff DVC has given me is going enough that if I do not make Soarin on a 5 day trip. I don't care. I don't have to see it all, instead I can just enjoy the 1/2 dozen/dozen things and stop and smell the roses. I used to be there at rope drop and run from thing to thing making sure I got it all in, and then re-riding TSM. It was fun, but DVC and APS, have made it MUCH MUCH MUCH better.

I always miss the total escape from reality I get when I'm there! :goodvibes No other vacation gives me that feeling, although cruises come close, but with cruises you still have to deal with reality when you get off the boat in port.

I miss walking with my wife, we always stroll around Crescent lake usually very late its always so relaxing. With all the walking we do I just really enjoy this one. Shawnpirate:

Two things...

1. Sitting on the balcony at Bay Lake Tower overlooking the marina, the contemporary, wilderness lodge in the distance...

2. Only fellow Dis-nites will understand this one..i LOVE taking the monorail around the resorts...getting off at Poly or Contemp...sitting in the lobby, soaking up the Disney feeling...brings back memories of going to WDW with my son when he was little (25 now!)

Being there is pure joy, I love the feeling when one of us (myself, DH or DD4) spot our first character of the trip!

100% agree about the background music. But I guess that is what Mouseworld Radio is for. I love tuning into that.
