Just wondered what folks miss most since first trip to WDW. ANYTHING OTHER THAN PUBLIC RELATIONS AND PEOPLE PROBLEMS PLEASE. That only turns to debate.
Thought this might be a way to reflect on the past of WDW and enlighten some of us newbies.
We have been going annually since '99. I think what I will miss most next trip Tapestry parade not being there. Our first trip we happened upon it unexpectedly and it created one of those magical Disney moments for us(the smell and taste of those glazed pecans while watching the parade just added to the magic as well).
So what do you or will you miss the most.

I miss the attraction "If you had wings" from the MK. I also miss that they used to open World Showcase at the same time as Future World in Epcot (9am). Was nice being able to head to France for a pastry early in the morning.

I miss the aerial car in the MK. But most of all I miss the Tapestry parade, especially Nations!

I really miss the show that was in Toon Town a long time ago. Mickey disappeared and Darkwing Duck was in it along with Max and Goofy. It was a great show!

I miss Tapestry of Nations too - It was just so spectacular....... Didn't care for Dreams too much tho.....

I miss the original Tiki Room.....It was so corny that it was cool... Like Niagra Falls......

My family really misses the Hunchback of Notre Dame show at MGM. IMHO, it was the best show in all of WDW. It will be sorely missed on our upcoming trip.

For me, it's a toss-up between "If You Had Wings" and "America the Beatiful" (Circle-Vision)

Polite people - it seems like people were more polite and not prone to littering when we first start coming/:wave2:

I really enjoyed Mr. Toad's Wild Ride when I was a child . . . but now I guess my kids will just have to enjoy Pooh!:D

Tapestry of Nations!!!!

In my opinion, that was the most creative and magical live event WDW had! I'm sure it was expensive to run twice daily but I sure wish they would bring it back in some capacity (even a few times per week!)

What a great question!

I've been going to WDW since 1978 so I've seen a lot of shows, attractions and shops come and go.

I miss the old Main Street with the Penny Arcade, Magic Shop, theater, Walt Disney Story, etc.

I miss the Mickey Mouse Club Revue (where PhilharMagic is now).

I miss If You Had Wings, though I love Buzz.

I miss the canoes at MK and the original Frontierland shooting gallery with real guns.

I miss CoP. Yes, I know its still there but if they never open it, it might as well be gone.

I miss World of Motion and the orignal Journey to Imagination. The latter is probably the one thing I miss the most.

I miss the steam train through Fort Wilderness and River Country.

I miss the view down the main strip at MGM before they built that monstrosity giant hat.

I'm sure some others will come to mind, but I'll leave it at that for now.

We first went to WDW in 1978, as we approach our 25th anniversary of going to WDW I miss the fruit drinks in the fruit shaped plastic containers, ticket books( you always had a start for the next visit), uncrowded parades(comparitivley), the flower cart just off main street(great picture place and swimming in the lakes(what gators). Probabaly theres alot more but I'm to old to remember.

The original future world with World of Motion, Journey, Horizons, Communicore, Living Sea sea cabs, etc. and no giant hand on Spaceship Earth!!!!!

20k Leagues Under the Sea, Hey somebody had to like this ride ::yes::

The old main street with different shops, not just one big emporium(sp?)

I muat say, I really miss the Hunchback show at MGM and the Lion King show at MK. I also miss the penny arcade. And in Mickey's Toontown Fair there used to be some standups of donald and Mickey and a show back there if I remember correctly. I miss those too!!! And I will always miss 20,000 Leagues under the Sea.

I miss the original look of Tomorrowland, when it was all white concrete and steel. I'm just glad they didn't mess with Space Mtn.

I miss the original Epcot entrance music.
Believe it or not I miss Symbiosys.

I miss the Pasta Piazza restaurant at Epcot and Bonfamille at Port Orleans.

I miss seeing the Chinese Theatre when I walk into the Studios park. That stupid hat gets in the way.

I also miss several things others already mentioned.

I miss the entrance to Epcot-the pretty flowers instead of that ugly Leave a Legacy/graveyard looking entrance. I also miss the Skyway, Bonfamiles, the colored flag buses (I loved to hear "You take the green flag bus to the brown flag bus, then...), the former Spaceship Earth music ("Tomorrow's Child"), the old Living with the Land boat ride, Discovery Island, and the Cafeteria style of Crystal Palace (I'm sure I'd think of others, mostly food things, if I thought more)
