"What do you mean I'm too old to be a princess?!" August 2012 Pre-Trip Update7/22

"To all that come to this happy place !" to my 2012 pre-trip report! My family is going in August of 2012 but the anticipation is killing me and I have to start now.

I believe introductions are in place, I'll start with moi.

My name is Aeriell, yes like the princess, I'm a performer of all sorts(singer, dancer, and actress) I am heading into my sophomore year at HS. But I don't go to any ordinary high school, I attend a charter school for the performing arts! I'll just give you the jist but my high school resembles a college in many way. There are 6 majors (all performing art majors) and you have to audition to get into the major (So if you want to be a dance major, you have to audition with a dance piece, vocal major song, etc.) Half the day I'm at my academic classes and then the other half I'm at my theatre classes. (I'm a theatre major btw hehe.) I love it there and truly believe the school has brought the inner child back in me. Oh, I'm also a Disney child born and raised. I love Disney with every fiber in me and am hoping to work there as an imaginer in my future.

Favorite ride- well...my old favorite ride was Snow White's Scary Adventure (RIP), and I know I'll adore the new LM ride so...I don't know what my favorite ride is....I'll just say POTC
Favorite character- Goofy
Favorite Park- Magic Kingdom
Favorite Show- Wishes, makes me cry everytime
Favorite Princess- Ariel(obviously), Rapunzel, Merida, Aurora, Belle...pretty much all of them.

Up next is my goofy little brother, the one and only

This is my little brother, he just turned 10. Disney lover just like myself. He is attending 5th grade this fall at a new Charter middle school for the arts, which is similar to my high school expect for 5-8 grade and they pick 2 majors. He is an art and vocal major. Crazy bafoon who already has more teenage angst than myself.

Up next is our lovely and adorable Baby Sister

Her first name is Ella, middle name is Cinthia put em together and what do you got? Cinderella! Yup, I'm not the only princess now!
She is currently 16 months old, but when we go to the world she will turn 18 months. This picture obviously isn't in Disney but I couldn't justify putting a picture up from last trip. She has grown so much, on the last trip she couldn't even crawl and now she is walking and talking(in her own language). This august is her second trip and she's already obsessed with everything Disney related. I've trained her well.

Mummsie

Along with her and my DDaddy they started the crazy Disney obsession in our family! She is now OBSESSED with Disney. Pin trader. She takes me to the Disney store every week just so we can get our Disney fix...we're obsessed.

He is our lovable and amazing father. He works so hard every year so we can spend our week in paradise. And we make sure he knows we appreciate him.

To the Disney store and back!

So before I start this post I just want to say that I don't think I will post about what we are going to do day-to-day because we don't plan that way. We are more of a go by the flow kind of family. I also don't enjoy knowing what we are going to do every hour of our trip because I believe that's what makes the trip go by faster. So I'm just going to post little fun things that I do to get pumped. With that said lets go!

The past week or so every time you purchased something from the Disney store you got a coupon that took 25% off of your entire purchase! But it was only valid from 7/19-7/22. My mom already went once this week but we had two more coupons!

So after I got home from work I started to change into my lounge around the house wear and saw the coupon! I had completely forgotten about it! And it expired today. I quickly ran upstairs to my mom and said "We have to go!" The mall closed in an hour so I quickly put on the closest Disney shirt I could find and we were off!

We quickly got in the car, turned on the Disney playlist and we were off! It was 5:02, the mall closed at 6!
This is my Disney bag that I got to carry around, I thought it was an appropriate occasion to wear it.

So soon

We got to the mall in 10 minutes! Which was amazing because due to construction it has been a lot more recently. We pulled into a parking stop at 5:11. Go go go!

Hello beautiful! (Funny Girl reference for any theatre dorks out there. h0lla!)

We quickly got inside the store and my mummsie and brother went straight to the vinyalmations (I think that's how it is spelled) My brother is OBSESSED with them. He has a huge collection. I believe today was the last day for the vilain series. I of course went straight to the princess stuff, which no longer fits. Which is sad because their new costumes are beautiful.

I then went over to the t-shirts. I need to up my collection because a lot of my old shirts don't fit anymore. I decided on these two.

So cute

I then went over to the dolls. I have been eyeing these forever. I had just recently gotten Rapunzel and decided she needed a friend. So this is where this beautiful girl comes in.

While walking around I saw this cutie in the back of a clearance rack and ran towards him. He was only 5 dollars!

Happy with all of my purchases my mom also got me a vinyalmation! And I got.....

THE CHASER!!! Score.

I feel so blessed to live so close to an amazing Disney store. I thought that I should share some of the magicalness in the store.

We headed out of the Disney store shortly after. Happy of our Disney fix and our great bargin! We got back in the car and were pulling out at 5:50! We were out before the mall even closed!
