What do you make for Christmas breakfast AND Christmas Dinner?

Since we've got 4pm Christmas Eve service this year, we're doing turkey bacon club sandwiches, cheesy fresh crab dip with chips, and citrus fruit salad with a yogurt cream dip (all able to be made ahead and ready about 15 minutes after we get home - key!:) for tonight's dinner.

Tomorrow, we do our family's traditional meals...
Tomorrow morning will be cinnamon rolls, fruit turnovers and more fruit salad for breakfast.
Tomorrow's lunch will be smoked salmon bagels with kale chips and brie en croute with fruit to snack on.
Tomorrow's dinner will be our traditional Peking Duck with the fixings and with fried rice (and sliced oranges) ordered in (since I don't cook on Christmas:)...

Merry Christmas! For Christmas eve we have prime rib with the traditional sides and red velvet cake for dessert. Christmas morning varies from year to year. This year is a breakfast strata and overnight cinnamon rolls plus coffee, hot cocoa and mimosas. Christmas dinner varies as well, but always something easy and sometimes just appetizers and cookies. This year is meatballs, cheesy potatoes and green bean bake.

Christmas Eve we're having our traditional Chinese food. No idea what's for dinner tomorrow.

Tonight my mother is making schnitzel, spaetzel, and I'm not sure what else. Although she is German, we have never had German food on Christmas. I'm used to appetizers and cold cuts for Christmas Eve or the Italian side of the family with ravioli and cannoli. So when my mom asked me to bring German potato salad I almost said, "I don't know how to make that, I'm Italian." But then I thought she might be offended so I'm looking for a recipe for German potato salad. Lol

Christmas Eve will be just me, I'm having black bean burgers.

For Christmas Day breakfast we'll be having oatmeal (steel-cut oats overnight in the crockpot) and cinnamon rolls (I'm making the dough tonight in my bread machine and will finish cooking them in the morning).

We always do themed Christmas meals (because we don't eat meat, so no traditional turkey or stuff like that). This year we are doing German. The plan is to have:
-a potato/kale/vegan sausage casserole (I forget the German name for it)
-vegan kielbasa
-German potato salad
-green salad with red cabbage
-roasted vegetables (peppers, onions, sweet potatoes)
-vegan schnitzel
-spaetzle noodles
-home-made rolls
-various cookies for dessert

so things got changed up a bit here...we were gonna have appetizers for dinner tonight but twin B managed to twist my arm to stop at the chinese take out place around the corner on our way back from a quick run to grocery store...We are SOOOOO full of beef friend rice, sesame chicken, and lo mein noodles. I am still planning to make stuffed shells and homemade meatballs tomorrow when my parents arrive. Merry Christmas everyone!!

Breakfast - Mickey waffles and bacon (treat at our house as I can't stand the smell but DH and DS will be very happy) :-)

Dinner - Big family dinner at my parents - ham, turkey, and all the trimmings. I'm responsible for the fruit salad (chef I am not) :rotfl:

Breakfast - Cinnamon buns from local bakery
Dinner - ham, mashed potatoes, green beans, candied carrots, creamed cabbage, cheese bread. Ice cream sundaes for dessert,

For Christmas Eve, my mother-in-law is Polish so we have pierogies, fried shrimp and fried fish. My brother-in-law is from Mexico so he pitches in some tamales.

Christmas morning we have left over pierogies fried in butter, little smokies and an almond kringle that I picked up at Trader Joe's.

Christmas dinner was with my family at our house. We had lasagne, penne with vodka sauce, salad, and french bread.
