I love disney for its "magic" and its timeless moments. Essentially I love Disney for the memories my family and I have planted so delicately there.
There are several rides I really love. Overall I would have to say Rock 'n' Roller Coaster because of a few reasons. First of all, I am addicted to fast, fast, FAST! lol. I enjoy that adrenaline rush one feels at the launch of this amazingly unique and "rockin'" ride! lol. There are plenty other rides I love all for different reasons, but that list would never end...
Home. The Grand Floridian is my home away from home. I simply adore the resort all too much! The elegant yet casual ambiance has just the right balance to make for an excellent stay! I wrote a rather lengthy review on this place and with every letter printed, I found myself loving it even more. If I went into specifics on why exactly I love this place so much, I would ultimately be writing a novel here lol.
It really depends on what exactly it is you enjoy about swimming. For me it is having space and the ability to go under water without smashing my face against the bottom. I would say the All Star Sports has the best pool as far as All Star goes. I am not certain for the moderate resorts but if I remember correctly, I believe Coronado Springs has a good pool(s). For deluxe, evidently I love the Grand Floridian pool (the main pool) the slide pool has become the "must" for younger children. I am uncertain as far as the other deluxe resort pool go.
Shopping. I have gone shopping at night a few times. I believe we have done Disney Quest at night once. However, I am not really a West Side fan. I don't care for PI (Pleasure Island) much and certainly would never go back to Disney Quest. Somehow it doesn't seem like Disney to me. In my honest opinion, that whole part of Walt Disney World lacks "magic".
I am 17 years old as of right now just to give you an idea of that age. I know my sister has similar ideas as I do. She is currently 15. So consequently we compare to two of your children lol.
I would also like to add that I very much enjoy spending my Walt Disney World vacations with my entire family. I am neither embarrassed or bored spending time with my parents (a common stereotype of teens). In fact, there have been numerous times where I have found myself encouraging my parents to come along rather than leave my sister and I for ourselves. Somehow, I have more fun when I can enjoy the innocence and "magic" of Disney with my family. (Not to say it isn't fun with just my sister and I lol). Basically what my message here is, not all kids want to head off to parks on their own. Now, I don't know how your kids are, but my suggestion is if you allow them to venture on their own, let them first initiate the question lol. I have more often times said, "okay" to my parents suggesting us just to head out to the parks even though I knew it would not be as fun. I am sorry if this makes no sense whatsoever lol, but I simply can't explain it well through words.
I hope your trip is every bit as magical as our trips have been and remember to make the most of everything!!! Time flies there.
