I'm trying to make a CD to listen to while I work out at the gym. I want upbeat fun songs; songs that you like to move to. Doesn't matter if they are new songs or oldies. Do you guys have any suggestions? What are your favorites? TIA! :)

I listen to CD's

3 Doors Down
Nickelback
Puddle of Mudd
Green Day

I usually pop in Jimmy Buffett to start and end my exercise!

Coworkers moaning and groaning about every little thing possible and some things I didn’t even want to know about!

DMB, there's just something about Dave Matthews that makes me move

I start almost every workout with Perfect Day by Hoku. Somebody used it in a funny Lost video and it makes me smile and wakes me up (I usually w/o early in the am).

Also like 1985 by Bowling for Soup
Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day...actually, pretty much their whole new cd
some old favorites include songs from The Cure, XTC, Kate Bush. God I just love my ipod!

Talking Heads
Bruce Springsteen
Tower of Power
Joe Jackson
Clash
...

just a couple on my playlist:

almost anything by the Black Eye Peas
Stronger by Brittney Spears
God is a DJ by Pink
Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson
One Two Step by Ciara
American Idiot by Green Day
almost anything by Missy Elliot
Wannabe by the Spice Girls (kitschy, but whatever...)

Going the Distance by Cake. A good running song in my opinion.

For the beats, I listen to electronic/dance of some old Bjork, Moby or Basement Jaxx.
