What about the famous DIS crockpot meatballs? No one posted that yet? or is it becasue all us DIS crock potters know it already,
If not.....here it is
Bag of frozen homestyle meatballs
cup of grape jelly
cup of ketchup (or your favorite BBQ sauce)
mix all together so meatballs are covered in sauce
cook on low for 3 hours.
During the holidays I bring these as an appetizers. But the kids LOVE them so much that I have been known to make these for dinner for them and let them eat with toothpicks.
Grape jelly meatballs are always a huge hit when I make them. I use a similar recipe, but instead of using ketchup I use Heinz chili sauce.
Bag of frozen meatballs (Sams or Costco)
1 large jar of Welch's grape jelly
1 jar of Heinz Chili sauce
In a large pot I mix the grape jelly and chili sauce and let it simmer until melted together. I put the meatballs in a crock pot, add the jelly mixture, and cook for about 3 hours. They're FAB, and people are always asking for the recipe!
