What do you like to do on arrival day

We usually arrive at the resort in the morning. We drop our bags with bell services unless our room is ready. We go to lunch at Disney Springs. By then our room is usually ready. We pick up our refillable mugs. We have our luggage delivered to our room and then we head off to MK for a night of fun!

Usually that is a arrive, unpack, freshen up and then go to a nice dinner at one of the resorts. That makes for an earlier night, so early to bed. Topolino, Toledo, Sebastian's Bistro, Storybook Dining, California Grill, 1900 Park Fare, BOMA ... etc. Some are repeats but always trying to go somewhere new.

Relax at the resort and take in the sights and atmosphere. Go for walks. Maybe head to Disney Springs in the evening? Or visit another resort.

Lately the parks themselves, except for Typhoon Lagoon, have become very low on the priority list for us during our visits as there is such an extreme value to just being amidst the environment and taking it all in.

I am in S. Florida, so often I am driving up EARLY in time for park opening. So I usually will get a full day of parks in. But when I am visiting with a more extended stay esp if I have APs, I often like to go to EPCOT. I don't worry so much about all the long lines and instead focus on World Showcase and whatever possible festival might be happening at the time. If I don't have APs and park time is more precious due to ticket entry, I like to enjoy the resort pool or do a character meal to really get me in the Disney vacation spirit.
