This is just my little thing, but about a week before I go on my trip, I love to get my hair trimmed and highlighted. I want my hair to look its best for the hundreds of pictures I'll be in. :rotfl:
But, seriously I hate to go to WDW without having my hair highlighted because it looks so much better when it is highlighted.
& another silly thing I like to do before the trip is buy a couple more items of clothing. Its really pointless since I have a whole closet full, but I just like the idea of feeling brand spankin' new all over at WDW.

Anything you like to do before your trip?
Other than party and get overly excited with the fact that your trip has finally come!

I start checking the weather daily, 30 days before I go!!

I pack the weekend before I leave.
I get my hair trimed a couple of days before I leave.
I check the weather daily (10 days out).

I will leave the house in 8 hours from now!!

awesome!
I'm concerned about the weather too!
Isn't it fun preparing for your trip?!?!

I do all those thing, get have my brows waxed, and have a facial. The facial is really relaxing.

I start saving every penny I can find (I start this about 15 months ahead of time), so that when my trip finaly comes it will be all payed for. After that, anything else is just extra!

I like new trip clothes too! A couple weeks before I get a few new things and I pack them right away so I won't wear them. I also like doing this because it means I can get the suitcase out and once I do that it means it's almost time to go!

I also like to get a new book to read on the plane.

I always get my hair cut a week before too. I don't like getting it cut too close to the day I leave because I always have to play with it myself for a couple days.

I start checking the weather in Orland about 10 days out.

I review plans and check the Disney schedule on Steve Soares sight about
a week out too.

I forgot about the clothes-probably because I bought them lst month. They are hanging in the "reserved" area of my closet. Buying books for my trip is a must not only for the plane. At night, reading helps me to relax.

Make lists, lists and more lists.... be sure i've returned everyuthing to every library in the state :rotfl:
plan clothing obsessively, like it makes a difference which grungy t-shirt ds's will wear which day... :rotfl2:
pack, unpack, repack my suitcases till they're perfect(see above obsessiveness)
make sure we a look good with hair and stuff....
watch the video again and again!
check the disboards 10 times a day.....

I get a few new things too for me and my girls-- clothes mainly. The past 2 years I've gone for Thanksgiving and my birthday is in early October and have gotten money and clothes for my trip both times. I ALWAYS get new underwear and socks to take (weird I know). . . for me and the girls. Also, last year I went the week before and the day before we left and got the spray on tan--LOVED it cause I wasn't pasty white! I WILL be doing this again this year!

Watch the weather everyday for about 2 or 3 weeks before we go.
Get the luggage out about 2 weeks ahead of our trip so I can start to get things organized.
Double check all our ressies 2 weeks prior.
Get more and more excited everyday till I'm so excited I can't sleep.

>>New clothes (a few things)
>>New underwear for family (makes me wonder would they ever get new underwear if we weren't taking a vacation?!?) :lmao:
>>Hair trimmed
>>New book for plane (and in hotel for down-times)
>>Start checking the weather the weekend before we leave
>>Pack weekend before we leave
>>Tie everything up at work that is possible
>>Cancel mail and paper delivery for while we are gone
>>Visit the DIS almost hourly!!! :surfweb:

NOT weird. At least in my book. New undies and socks are required for any vacation!

Well, I take my dogs to get their shots for the kennel! LOL And as for me, I am getting my hair done (cut and highlights), bought a couple new disney shirts for me, dh, and dd. (Lime green of course!), and started shopping for "plane" items to keep my dd busy for the flight.
