I wanted to laugh at the squirrel part lol. I wouldn’t leave our backpack but didn’t know about things like sippy cups or like a rain cover or toy left on the strollerI’ve met people who had backpacks and more stolen from strollers, so we don’t leave anything valuable. Also, squirrels steal things from strollers.
I’m watching Flora & Ulysses on Disney+ right now so I feel for the squirrels.I wanted to laugh at the squirrel part lol. I wouldn’t leave our backpack but didn’t know about things like sippy cups or like a rain cover or toy left on the stroller
We left everything all the time. We would leave our video camera when we had one, wallets... diaper bag in the shape of a purse tucked away. Nothing has happened in the dozens of times we’ve went. Now I don’t recommend that of course. We just were always like nothing bad happens at Disney. Crazy hey? So I recommend somewhere between everything and most stuff. We’re new to bringing a stroller to the park. Our son will be 12 months when we go in May. What do you take with you on rides and what do you feel comfortable leaving in the stroller?
Thanks! I would hope no one would steal his sippy cup but people are crazy. We can always have an extra in the bag too just in case. Hopefully no one would steal our umbrellas either. They’re from Tokyo DisneyWe take our backpack but leave rain gear, drinks, small cooler.
the squirrel part is true with snacks have seen them going from stroller to stroller taking snacks and have seen some who appear to lick sugar/liquid from cups. walking on the trays. I would not leaving anything that would cause a problem if it goes missing. I would cover stroller anytime you leave it in case of pop up rain nothing worse than to come back and find a wet strollerI wanted to laugh at the squirrel part lol. I have seen a toddler grab a cup off tray of another stroller and parents did not see I guess each thought other had given to childThanks! It’s a touching movie on Disney +. Just came out. Same author as Winn Dixie.Idk what that is lol
Wow I wouldn’t have thought to take the fans.We are semi-local, so know lots of passholders, and do not leave anything of valuable on the stroller because of thatThings are taken a lot more than people realize.
We leave things like drinks/cups, rain cover (because it's typically dripping wet!), and occasionally a blanket thrown in the bottom during cooler months.
During the summer, I even shove the stroller fans into the bag before leaving the stroller - those seem to walk away the most easily and while cheap, we can't do a hot Disney day without them.
Maybe we’ll just cover the stroller with the rain cover or net every time we leave. That might make someone else think twice before digging around but we won’t leave snacks in sightthe squirrel part is true with snacks have seen them going from stroller to stroller taking snacks and have seen some who appear to lick sugar/liquid from cups. walking on the trays. I guess we’ll either put his cups in the bag or underneath the strollerI have seen a toddler grab a cup off tray of another stroller and parents did not see I guess each thought other had given to child
Our diaper bag is actually a backpack style one so we’re good there. We will only do MK for one day and no other park days. We aren’t planning to do rider switch. It’ll mostly just be walking around and letting him enjoy being there. If we don’t ride any rides I won’t even care lolSomeone mentioned backpack. I don’t know if you’ve done a backpack before kids, but we did a backpack instead of a diaper bag most of the time when they were little. Much easier and no one feels emasculated lugging it around. You can bring it on most rides your 1 year-old can go one, if not all of them and if it is worn on the front instead of the back you can sit more comfortably on the ride. Oh my gosh this is bringing back such memories. Don’t forget the rider switch.
No better way to experience it then through your child’s eyes! Have fun!Our diaper bag is actually a backpack style one so we’re good there. We will only do MK for one day and no other park days.
