I am looking at getting my mom a new book for Christmas. I want to get her either the Passporter 500 tips or the Mousejunkies book. We have been to Disney 4 years in a row so it's not like we need an offical tour guide book.
I am just looking for something fun to read!
Any suggestions about those two books? Maybe neither one of those? Thoughts? Ideas? :confused3
Thanks in advance!!!!

I have the Mousejunkies book and just love it! The story of his first grownup trip to WDW is hilarious, ever time I read it. I haven't read Passporters so can't really comment on it. Good luck!:wizard:

I have the Mousejunkies book as well. I like it but if you've been going to WDW often I don't think it would be the best... a lot of it is mostly opinion on what the writers like or don't like.

I really like the Hidden Magic of Walt Disney World by Susan Veness. That one is more like secret or hidden things, all the little details that go into the park that most people don't even notice. I've never been but it was quite a fun read, and I'm looking forward to paying attention to some of these things on my trips :thumbsup2

I suggest any of the "Imagineer's Guide to ...."

I have the DHS and Epcot one and it's really fun for light reading, especially for those that have been in the parks and want to know more about the design and development of the parks.

I'll second Mousejunkies. My dad loves it.

Actually, I like all of the suggested books! I take it back, I can't choose ;)

Another great one is The Disney Mountains: Imagineering at Its Peak. It's a little more taste-specific and covers all the Disney parks, but it's a great book. Lots of concept drawings, etc from the imagineers. I really enjoyed it.

It's true that Mousejunkies is less helpful for the experienced Disney guest, I like all the imagineering books that give you a more in-depth behind the scenes look.

I like the Imagineering Field Guides. I also really like the Walt Disney World Trivia Book.
