What do you know about affordabledisney.com?

Most of the discounts seem to either be available on this board (S/D occupation discounts) or codes that are available on Mary Warings site.
Someone who doesn't know about Mary's site (and this site) may get their $30 worth but not us.

It just makes me appreciate these boards all the more! This Board is such a service to all of us lwho are looking for a way to make our trip affordable or to just obtain some general info! From the moderators that give their time in answering never-ending questions, to the members who are so willing to share every tip they come across - all this for FREE!

I do not beleive that that website can offer (for $30) anymore than what we all get here for free!

How lucky are we?????:D

I was able to read this book last year(the 1999 edition)and I did not find it had any more information than one would find on this board. It seemed to have some of the same "general" information, like SOG for military, AP dining discounts(a thing of the past)and AP room discounts, but it lacked the up-to-date info(like specific codes)that we get right here on the boards. If I did not know about these boards, affordabledisney might be worth the money. Just skimming over the site, I found the "hints" to be similar to things discussed on this board, so I did not pay the $30, but that's not to say that someone else wouldn't benefit from it. I appreciate CapHook posting it!:)

I thought I knew all the Disney sites, but I'm not familiar with the Mary Waring site mentioned here. Can you please give more info, i.e., web address, what they offer, etc? Thanks!

SusanB - Mary Waring's site is now the mousesavers.com website. It lists probably every code needed to receive a discount on hotels, tickets, meals, etc. It's GREAT!

I think I have been to that site before, but I'll go check it out again - thanks!

I became a member last year looking for information on Disney. I would agree above. You can find most information of these boards. I couldn't find discount codes posted anywhere. My membership is about to run out and I will not be renewing.
