What do you hate most about your school's dress code?

I guess I'l describe my uniform

we have a summer (may,june,september,october) and winter (november,december,february,march,april) uniform

Summer Uniform

-white or green polo with our school symbol on it
-tan skirt, must be at the knee
-knee high blue socks
-black or brown penny loafers



Winter Uniform

-white or blue collared shirt
-blue or green sweater or sweater vest
-guys have to wear ties
-tan skirts
-knee high blue socks
-black or brown penny loafers


Guy's hair cant be past the ear. I dont like really long hair on guys so I dont care about this



I really dont mind the uniform, it makes everyone "equal" and I never have to worry about what to wear in the morning

-The winter sweaters. They're bulky and huge and ugly and made of freaking plastic.
-The fact that we even have a uniform at all.
-How long the sleeves on my blue polo go...like down to my shoulders.
-That we can't wear whatever shoes we want.
-The fact that some teachers care about shirt tuckage and others don't.
-OMG I HATE THIS SO MUCH--guys can't have hair that covers their ears or goes farther than the top of their neck and can't reach below their eyebrows. GAH, it's soooo annoying, the guys would look so much better with long hair. >.<
-We can't dye our hair an unnatural color.
-"all undershirts must be solid colored"- HAHA, yeah right, nobody pays attention to that.

Next year when I am a Senior in the 12th Grade I can ditch the uniform and where business attire. I am so happy about the . The Senior priviledges.

well i have to wear a uniform...plaid skirts and everythin. but i wouldnt say i hate it...i just dislike it. but we do hav to tuck our shirts into our skirts but i dont know why? its just more uncomfortable and less flattering

My school won't let us wear skirts w/ leggings underneath.
It's weird, I mean, there's something underneath it.
Yeah, they won't let us wear spagetti-strap tank tops.
I might attemp to wear one but with bigger straps like 1 1/2 inches wide.

We have to wear Knee highs , but no leggings. During the hotter months we can just wear footies socks.

My school has a really strict dress code. It's annoying.
Tank top has to be 2 fingers width.
Shorts have to be longer than your arms length.

But, it gets really hot in school towards the end of the school year so it's hard to find clothes to wear to school without breaking the dress code.

I don't have uniforms now but the thing I find most annoying is that you can't wear tank tops. I have this really cute tank top that I am dying to wear to school but I can't. Flip flops, shorts (have to be mid thigh) and hair below the neck & collarbone (for guys) is all ok, though some guys at my school would look better with short hair. Trust me.

In my elementary school we had to wear uniforms.

Green, burgundy, gold, white, or school shirt
Navy blue jacket
Navy blue jumper
Navy blue shorts
Navy blue long pants
2 kinds of belts you could choose from (I think)
And You had to tuck your shirt in, I hated it at first but I go used to it

But we could wear whatever shoes we wanted, as long as they're closed-toe.

We don't really have a dress code you can bassically get away with wearing whatever you want
As long as this one crazy lady doesn't walk by you and yell at you since none of the teachers, principals etc. really care
