what do you give boss for Christmas?

Probably a restaurant gift card along with a "gag" gift like a magnifying glass (the man is half blind and refuses to get glasses!).

My old boss was a riot to buy for - he was a huge Disney fanatic so I was always scouring ebay for obscure collectibles for him. He was always VERY appreciative. He gave GREAT gifts too - usually the latest electronic gizmo like an Ipod, digital camera, video camera phone, etc... I will sure miss THAT gift this year. Sigh...

I am a PR Ecex. I usually give the person(s) I report directly to a gift card to Starbucks, or some other place they frequent. Nothing big - just a "I enjoy working with you during the year - Happy Holidays" gift.

I work on a horse farm for a wonderful family. They are very generous to me, all year round. I give them a gift sponsorship of a horse at an equine rescue farm that I have been involved with for many years. It may not seem like much, but it certainly helps the rescue farm that relies on donations and my boss always appreciates getting it (a picture and the story of the sponsored horse are included). I also get her a box of nice chocolates.

I give these sponsorships to several of my friends since everyone seems to have so much these days. They all seem to like it and some have started giving them themselves.

Do tell! What do you do there? Inquiring horse-owning minds want to know.

Everyone in my office always gets my boss something small and we gather it all up and get him a gift basket made for Christmas. I am going on the Wonder soon and I am really thinking of getting him a replica of the ship for the Christmas basket.
