My plan is to hit Fantasyland first. Going to let my hubby wait in line at Dumbo with the kids while I run and pick up FP to Splash Mtn.
Then wait in line for Pooh & Peter and Thunder Mtn and then use FP for Splash.

Does this sound okay?

Sounds like the right order to me. I was surprised that even with arriving 30 minutes before park opening the crowds were pretty big. If you are going this summer, get there VERY early (at least 40-45 min) for this to work with short wait times. If you aren't done with TMR by 10:15 or so the lines are going to be quite long.

Blessings.

We usually try and catch the train over to SM and I go get FP for TM. It seems we are usually pretty close to being the first ones over there if I do that, I think because so many "newbies" are so awestruck when they see main street and the castle it takes them quite awhile to head over that way, from there we usually head to Pirates, although people are catching on this attraction seems hard to find for alot of people. I suppose if I had small children I would head to Fantasyland first too.

Definitely one of the mountains, depending on personal preference. You've got the right idea lining up for the dumbos first. I am always amazed how out of control this line gets, and how fast. Good luck!

Sounds okay to me; however, I might substitute such rides as Tea Cups, Magic Carpets and Pirates in there depending on how it would work out for you -- simply b/c these rides don't have FP at all, and you could still pick up FP's for Peter Pan, Pooh and Thunder Mtn. if the line is too long once you get there... we got a FP for Splash Mtn. on an EMH morning at about 10 a.m. with only a 30 minute wait until return time... we also tend to work the park the opposite way on EMH days... Tomorrowland to Fantasyland and so on... then take a non-EMH day to work the opposite way focusing on Adventureland and Frontierland.... But doing Dumbo first is a 100% good idea... seems silly to wait in a line as long as that one gets for a 60 second ride -- even though it's a must do for us!

What about Space Mountain???
I would grab a FP for Space then finish Dumbo, Pooh, and Pan (or whatever your choices are) hit Space with Fastpass and then haul it across the park grabbing a FP for Splash and then ride Thunder, Pirates, Aladin, etc. while waiting for FP time.

Have a great time!!!

DH and I arrive at MK for EE so we do several rides before the crowd arrives. We grab a FP for Buzz, and then we get in line for Buzz immediately after that. After riding we go have breakfast til our FP time arrives for Buzz and we do it again. It's the ONLY ride we do FP for as we've been blessed to only have 20-30 minute waits at the time we visit. Certain rides you just have to stand in line for....Splash Mountain being one of them. :teeth:

If we're starting in Frontierland, we do Splash then Thunder. Get FP for Perter Pan then ride Haunted Mansion.
