I just said, It looks like you're gonna be taking something back then...What do you get someone who has everything??

The best advice I kan give yer...is....your time

Thar aint nut'in my Mom needs...sew...Mrs.G and I end up git'in her a couple of things we think she'd like...then...we give her "Family Gift Certificates"....for example...we gave her one last year that we'd take her out (she dernt drive at night anymore) and drive her around town ter see the Christmas decorations...We also give her one..whar we'll take her to a picnic area (in good weather- one by a lake or sump'in) and cook her breakfast....I think older people especially enjoy spending time with their adult children....jurst a thought fer yer!

Is your mom the kind of person who would enjoy a spa treatment?

A couple of the men in my office (one of them also has everything) received pedometers for father's day and they really enjoyed them, since they're active and walk a lot.

If you have a few family pictures you could take them to Kinko's and have them make a calendar.

Are you going with the kids to Dis Con? Get one of those silhouettes done at Downtown Disney - they come out sooo fabulous, and it's too cool to see that guy just look at your kids and cut the shapes out freehand. You can have it framed there, too. It was my parents' favorite gift that year - I only wish I had video-taped the guy doing it - he was amazing!

Slippers, robes, pj's, perfume, jewelry, liquor/wine, have a flower arrangement centerpiece delivered, books or take them out for a day.

I got my mom a sewing machine, mil got her luggage.

My dad will want "bridge" (card game) stuff.

My parents are the type who "don't need anything." One year my sister who lives out of town sent them one of those fancy hams. They just thought that was the greatest thing!

I think car washing certificates are nice ... I've also requested (and gotten) for my birthday that someone (my husband) just wash and wax my car!!

Another thing I did one year when I was young ... I wrote my parents a letter telling them how special they were to me and how much I appreciated them. As expected, they cried.

Pay for someone to come and do a big fall or spring house cleaning (Merry Maids will come do special one time cleanings).
Dinner and a movie gift certificates (a restaurant near my parents does this and they love)
A year of internet service (if they have a computer)
Fruit or flowers of the month clubs
Luggage (my parents loved this)
A flowering tree for their yard

Last Christmas we gave my mother a certificate, created and colored by the youngest grandchildren, for flowers every 6-8 weeks. We went to the florist shops and ordered/picked up the flowers ourselves - we found that was less expensive than signing up with one florist. Dad loves to read and to garden, so we get him books or gardening stuff. We have given them gift certificates to a restaurant or a cleaning service in the past.
