I've not flown Virgin for 4 years and my memory is a bit hazy.

Do they still have blankets and pillows on your seat wen you board?

Trying to decide what to travel in as I always get cold. So if there is a blanket I don't need to layer up as much.

There were still blankets and pillows in October last year. Not the warmest blankets if you are a bit chilly but I have asked for an extra one in the past and there was no problem. And you still get those tiny pillows that fall out from under your neck so you hit your head on the panelling around the window :rotfl:but yes, still both unless anything has changed in the last few months. :goodvibes

Not long now! :cool1:

Every flight I have taken with every airline has been the same, outbound a pillow in seat with blanket on request, inbound both a pillow and blanket in seat.
Lastest 2 I took, Delta & USairways were both like this, not heard of any changing so I think its standard for them all.
I am the opposite, always too warm on flights, never used a blanket yet, always have cool air on me all flight, others around me all wrapped up in fleeces and blankets:goodvibes

I would say it's a guy thing that - but my DD is the same - always too warm. I'm always freezing.

Glad you've asked this Victoria as I am always cold too - I have bought some new tracksuit bottoms and a jacket to travel in, I was hoping there would be blankets too! :)

Thanks everyone. :)

I'll take my inflatable neck pillow (amazing if anyone is thinking about getting one) and then just wear jeans and a hoody and ask for a blanket if I get chilly.

I have one of those and a pillow as well. DH laughed the first time and now he steals them when i go to the loo.

Still they are much better than trying to take a pillow or one of the solid ones.:thumbsup2

Actually, there is a difference between the sexes! I used to work for British Gas research - we did some research back in the 80's, and found that men like the temperature to be 20C, whilst women like it 22C.

As a result, most heating/AC systems are set to 21C, thereby satisfying absolutely nobody!

I'm like Wayne, I'm always too hot.
