Nothing. Never have.I guess I always looked on it as a romantic holiday for two adults.

The night before V-Day, after the kids are in bed, I put a red tablecloth on the table, set it with white dishes and sprinkle some themed-foil confetti on the table. At each place setting, I will put a small box of chocolates and a $10 certificate to something they will like (B&N, ToysRUs) and I will make a special breakfast. Hmmm...belgian waffles with strawberries?
For dinner I have a tradition of making a meatballs in tomato sauce recipe I made for my family when I was a kid.
Finally, a chocolate cake for dessert (homemade frosting, of course).
Maybe, I'll write each of them, and dh, too, a note telling them why I love them so much.![]()

I made this for my daughter for Valentine's Day. I still have to make my son's. I'm going to take them to school on Monday and drop them off at the office. I think it cost around 8-10.00 a piece to make.
Awww!!!We usually get our boys something VERY small for Valentines Day....a big Reeses heart more than likely.
This year is different b/c we are actually revealing the surprise to them that we are going to Disney. I got them each a suitcase and filled it with a bunch of Disney stuff....chocolates, suckers, Funtainers, t-shirts, luggage tags, stuffed Mickey, games, coloring books, etc. along with a $50 gift card for them to spend at the parks. We will be decorating the house with Mickey heads so when they come down the stairs on Saturday morning (yes we're celebrating 2 days early...my DH is a police officer so we will both actually be home on Saturday) they will see the Mickey Heads and then the suitcases. After they see those and we reveal the surprise we are going to make Mickey pancakes for breakfast and watch the planning DVD while we eat them! I can't wait!!!!!!!![]()
Very cute, but our schools would NEVER allow something like to be delivered to a student during the day! It is school and this would just be too distruptive due to all of the attention it would command from the other students... why at school????![]()

MY thoughts exactly!!!Why on earth would you take them to school instead of giving them to the kids at home?
