When we bought in 2010, we were given one fast pass for each of us, so 3. Because we were uncertain about buying OKW, which they were pushing at the time, our guide also gave us 3 $15 gift cards and told us to take ferry ride to Olivia's to see what we thought.

while staying at the BWVs on my points (her 21st bd/graduation gift), my friend received a call from DVC offering a $150 GC if she went on the tour. she took the tour & received the GC (she also bought AKV) that day). btw, we never received the referral bonus
when DF used her shiny new points to stay with another friend at AKV last year, they received a call from DVC. her friend was offered a $150 GC to go on the tour (they both went, and her friend received the GC as promised tho she didn't buy in).
i've seen only a very few posts about similar situations - where a non-owner was staying on points, and contacted at the resort, offering a $150 GC to go on the tour. afaik, none that were offered the $150 were on "rented" (not gifted) points (i'm not sure how they would know, unless MS puts notes on the ressie....i recall telling MS that DF's stay was a surprise for a fantastic friend)

We were offered/given $100 gift card in 2009. They did ask what resort we were staying at (WL) so I wonder if the incentive changed based on level of resort.

We got 4 FP's per person, cookies and drinks and ice cream. We did purchase at DVC contract at AK but we would have received the gift card either way.

The times have gotten richer! When we bought in 1998 (or was it 1999?) we each got a cookie and lemonade. We were a sales person's dream--only spent about 1½ hours touring/listening before signing on the dotted line. We had no idea what we were doing. One of the best stupid decisions we have ever made.
