Been checking Accuweather until Weather.com sarted having my date available. They always have differences, but who do feel to be more on target?

I always forget about the whole thing once I'm down there LOL.

... And from there stems the information to my favorite site, http://www.weather.com

Personal preference, but private sites such as AOL's, etc., use the national weather forecast as they do not have their own meteorologists deciphering computer models...

I prefer sticking my head out the window and looking around. Anything else is prone to error.

:p

I have to agree- the National Weather Service is the best by far. Of course- the most accurate is the stick your head out the window but for weather worriers like myself the National Weather Service is a big help.
Wishing you lots of sun and warm temps:earsgirl:

Thanks! I will definately bookmark the national service website:D

I stick my head out the door and check the websites.....I am a weather worrier too.......mostly for my special needs son who gets sick at the drop of a hat::yes::

Beyond 24 hours, they are all pretty much prone to error.
Got a kick out of one Weather Channel forecaster during this most recent snow we had. Came on the air, was pointing in the general area where I live and said "You COULD MAYBE even see 8-10 maybe even upwards of 15 inches of snow OR MORE before this one is thru"
There is a huge difference between 8 and 15 inches of snow. That kind of forecast is pure guesswork.
OH--we got just a smidge over 8".

Don't blame it on meteorologists. Blame it on turbulence itself, random and unpredictable by definition.

With all things that can and do happen up there, it is a miracle that models and forecasts come close enough to help people plan activities around the reports...

Closer that the Farmer's Almanac or grampy's arthritis would have predicted for that day!!

:teeth: That is a big difference, that's what prompted me to post, big difference between 63 and 74:confused:

When we are actually there in Dec. if the weather gets above about 73 we are outta the parks and head straight to the pool::yes:: That weather turns FAST!
