What Do You Expect From a Sig Restaurant Dining Experience?

Only if it’s a French resturant!!!

I agree with just about everything said. At first I thought who cares what the kids menu has--if theyre well behaved, then let them come. (my DD is 17 now). Then I realized that there should be more adventurous, healthy options for the kids as well. Let them choose then. How hard would it be to have the nuggets and burgers as well as 3-5 nicer options (adult menu choices, kid size?).

We havent been to WDW that often but have tried many of the signature restaurants and enjoyed them. Im a little worried as we go this November, and FD was added after we booked. We are using FD (deluxe) but I hope menus will be the same as non FD.

The only place we havent tried yet is VandA and Id go in a heartbeat--if it wasnt for the jacket required rule! I just cant see having to make my husband drag a jacket with just for the one dinner! Darn!

We were lucky...at FF while there were children, they were very well behaved and were a tribute to their parents. But, if I had spent over $150 for my dh and my dinners, with no alcohol, I would have been more than a bit miffed if I had had to shout to hear him over a melting down child.
I love kids, I have three of my own. I sent my two dd's off to play mini-golf while we ate at FF!!! Neither one of them would have appreciated the meal.

Agree with this completely. Had DD (13) and DS (10) been with us, I doubt they'd have appreciated FF.

Well, I think we have established there is definitely a demand for family-friendly upscale dining. The current group of sigs seem to be delivering it. Maybe if some of the codes were enforced, things could be nicer, DDP aside.

That all being said, there appears to also be a demand (to what extent would take a marketing study on Disney's part) for some V&A style restaurants - unique menus, strict behavior and dress codes, great atmospheres themed to the host resort.

If you ever get the chance to visit Disney Land in Anaheim, I would highly recommend Napa Rose. I doubt you will be disappointed.
