What do you eat for breakfast?

This morning one of my colleagues here commented that I had the "most interesting" breakfasts...and she didn't mean it in a complimentary way. But it got me thinking about what I eat for breakfast. On Sunday I had 1/2 a bagel with peanut butter, honey, raisins and banana slices on it and big bowl of watermelon. Yesterday I had hummus, cucumber slices, radishes, sprouts, and shredded carrots on a whole wheat pita. Today I had hummus and tabouleh on kavli and some crenshaw melon.

So I don't always eat typical breakfast foods...do you always eat typical breakfast foods for breakfast or do you branch out and eat other things?
 
I don't eat breakfast but I really need to start. I've never been a breakfast person and eating in the morning almost makes me feel sick to my stomach. I usually don't eat until around 1pm or so.

I eat the same thing every day, I'm boring. Cereal or oatmeal, OJ and coffee, without fail. Right now I'm on a Special K with Red Berries kick.
 
I never used to eat breakfast, but now I can't get through the day unless I do (unless, of course, it's a very late morning day and I don't get moving until lunch. ;) )

My breakfast on most work mornings comes from the work cafeteria and is a *really* good breakfast taco with about 2 eggs, 1 serving of hash browns, and 2-3 slices of bacon, and one piece of cheese, and I'll frequently throw in one biscuit with fruit jelly.
 

I ate 2 slices of cheese and had some water on the way into work, then I had a cup of coffee after I got to work.

I prefer lasagna or pizza for b'fast. Or a ham sandwich or something filling to start the day off with. Sometimes I eat "normal" b'fast food-like a biscuit (rarely), or toast or something. Rice a roni is a great bfast food too.:) I rarely ever eat cereal, and if I do, I eat it at night.
 
Err...I'm terrible. Double chocolate fudge cake, chocolate donuts, chocolate chip cookies...I need chocolate in the morning like some people need coffee. I dont' usually eat breakfast though, but when I do, thats what I have. With a huge glass of orange juice, Tropicana with Calcium, no pulp only.

I know, orange juice and chocolate, my mom always says thats gross. Oh well, I don't drink milk :)
 
On days Im dieting I will usually have either Special K or Rice Krispies with skim milk, and a little oj to drink. I also tend to steal a bite or 2 of DS's banana.
On days when Im not being strict on my diet I will have either a plain bagle(not toasted, nothing on it), or a lowfat corn or blueberry muffin, with diet coke.
On the other hand, next week in WDW I will be eating all the good stuff, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, eggs, pastries...and most of all Im dying for some of Chef Mickeys breakfast pizza. I cant wait! ;)

Then when I get to work I usually have yogurt or some fruit.


A princessmom - your breakfast sounds great. I don't have half of those ingredients in my house though ;) I can never think of adventurous foods to buy, ours are boring.

I must eat breakfast or I suffer all morning. I have a blood sugar problem. I love egg bagels. They have plenty of protien. I just found out that Grapenuts have 9 grams of protein for 1/2 cup. That's alot, so I've added that to the rotation (with fresh peaches.) I also microwave an egg (or egg substitute) with ham, tomatoes and onions. Sometimes I am bad and have a white chocolate, macadamia nut bagel, yum, but no protein, so I drag all morning. I also like oatmeal, but must supplement with 1/2 an egg bagel.
 
I have never been a breakfast eater, until a few weeks ago. DH and I decided to start eating healthy, and now I have 12 grain toast or a bowl of shredded wheat. It's knd of funny, I seem to be eating alot more and I have actually lost 7 pounds since I've started eating breakfast.
 
I eat the same thing for breakfast every day, a piece of dry 12 grain toast around 4:30 and either celery or carrots around 10:00.
 
Sugar free strawberry jello with a little bit of whip cream!

Wow! Michelle and I are twins! She summed my breakfast habits up perfectly, down to my current favorite - Special K Red Berries!

(I always knew I liked her!)
 
I vary up my breakfasts and somedays I don't even eat breakfast at all. Some of my regular breakfasts are: 1/2 bagel with cream cheese, 2 pieces of toast (lightly buttered), 2 pieces of cinnamon raisin toast (plain), cup of oatmeal, a banana, strawberry yogurt, etc. It always has to be something quick and easy. :)
 
I'm not a big breakfast eater I prefer regular foods. My favorite breakfast is cold pizza.
 
I have either Oatmeal ~I like Quaker Instant Cinnamon Roll~ or I have 1/2 bagle or some string cheese. I ALWAYS have a medium sized Dunkin' Donuts coffee with cream and sugar though. That's my daily treat for me!

I LOVE JAVA!
 
no breakfast! i just have a cup of coffee (or two, or three) :rolleyes:
