What do you eat for "breakfast in the room"?

We also use it as a time to eat things for breakfast we don't usually eat. Our GG list has

-Case of water
-Case of orange juice bottles
-3 packages of Horizon shelf stable chocolate milk (3 in each pkg)
-Pop Tarts
-Box of individual size cereal boxes

We usually don't eat all of our desserts and snack credits, so we use those to get fruit to take back to the room to add to the breakfasts. I also think I might bring some of those Quaker breakfast cookies next time. We're not big breakfast eaters anyway, so a few bites of something will last us until an early lunch.

Since my niece is lactose intollerant, she can't eat much in the room.

I'm packing cereal and will get some soy milk (food court) to keep in the fridge.

I will pack some oatmeal for myself and use the coffeemaker to heat the water. Might pack a few granola bars.

When my friend/neighbour goes to the grocery store I will have her pick up some fruit for me, as they will rent a car to get to US/IOA.

My ds is fully allergic to dairy, not lactose intolerant. He can't have the lactose either. We have no problems eating breakfast in the room.

He eats what he normally eats at home-pop tarts, cereal & I have brought bagels. Last year I even brought his butter for the few times we needed it. I packed an ice pack in my suitcase in a cooler with his butter in it. I think I even put bologna in there too for him.

Pop tarts, cereal, instant breakfast, milk, OJ, fruit, muffins, for the parks water bottles, granola bars, trail mix or chex mix. My sil makes pb&j sandwiches for the park and puts them in a container so they don't get squashed and freezes yogurt and carrys them in a plastic bag. Linda :)

I never thought about freezing yogurt. That's a great idea!

This was my shopping list (I saved it) that I had with Wegoshop.com (which will save you money compared to GG, FYI). We had stuff for breakfast and snacks in the room and at the park, as you can see by the list. BTW, you can boil water for oatmeal inside the coffee maker if you room has one. If you don't have one in the room you can buy a small one and pack it with you or have it shipped to the resort. :goodvibes

We'll be staying in a condo so we'll have access to a full kitchen. Even though we'll have a car, I still plan on bringing a suitcase with dry goods in it. Besides we'll need the extra room to bring home all the souvies. :lmao:

We plan on doing
pb sandwiches (my kids live on those. I have a round cutter so it contains the mess)
pop tarts
muffins (I make these in a sandwich maker so they travel well in the car and at the park. Something to do with the funny triangle shape. LOL)
mickey waffles (yes, I'm crazy and I'm bringing my own waffle maker with)
granola bars
oatmeal for dh and I
and maybe some breakfast burritos

I'm sure some things will be added to list as the time gets closer.
