What do you eat at Typhoon Lagoon?

In the past, we've always packed lunches for the waterparks. This was easy since we were staying at a rental house. This Sept. we will be at POP so we're going to be buying lunch at TL for the first time.

Where do you like to eat? What specific items do you like best? I see that some places are opened "seasonally"- will they be open in Sept.? Also, have you used the Dining Plan counter service credits there? How did that work?

We like the chicken wraps there. I can't remember their names but it's a food place near the "swimming with sharks." DH loves the Turkey Legs....

Here is the menu from one location at TL. For the other TL menus, you will see TL listed on the left side and click there. However, note that these are all about a year old.

We tend to stick to the hot dogs. Don't care for the chicken or the burgers. Stay away from that mini donut stand though. They might taste good going down, but they sit like a rock.

The pizza here is ok, but we loved the mini-donuts. DS and I were arguing over who had eaten more than their share.

At Leanin' Palms, we had the burgers and chicken sandwiches. The chicken was tasteless-- the burgers were good. We had cookies and ice rceam bars for dessert.

We (2 adults) thought the chicken wrap at Leaning Palms was really good. We also like the pulled pork sandwich at Typhoon Tilley's. We've also, when not as hungry, enjoyed the kid's grilled cheese on pretzel bread.

The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good. Kids like their chicken nuggest in the sand pails. DH had a wrap which he said was pretty good.
