What do you drive and why did you choose it?

2004 GMC Sierra ... cause it's got a V8 and awesome sound with headers and muffler and 22's fit on it with no problems.

Custom built motorcycle cause I had spare time and needed something to build. (For sale if anyone's interested, cause I don't have the money to finish my other project.)

2004 PT Cruiser--I wanted something small and affordable enough that I could pay cash for it and that would still be comfortable for my tall DH and dd to ride in it for extended periods. I also love the fact that if I put all the seats down, I can tote a lot of stuff around, if needed. It's also small enough to make parking easy and I just love this car.

DH drives a 94 Subaru. I keep trying to talk him into getting a new car (or something newER at least) but he loves that car and refuses to get something else.

I drive a 2003 Camry XLE. I had in my mind the exact color I wanted for a car, and after the eighth car the dealer promised was the best on the lot, I spotted my Blue from across the way, and just walked over even though he was in mid-sentence. I'm not ashamed to admit, that it was the color that attracted me. I'm superficial junk like that. ;)

A 2007 Red G6 convertible. I chose it because it was the most fun thing I could find to drive.

My DH drives my old car, a 1998 Chevy Camaro. It was my graduation gift from my parents and when I had the kids, I needed a bigger car, so my Dh got my old one. I chose it when I was 17 because I had always wanted a Camaro. When my parents took me to buy a car, I fell in love with it.

My Dh drives it because it's paid for and it gets good gas mileage. He installed something under the hood to increase its' gas mileage, so he's getting 25mpg. Since he drives about 90 miles a day roundtrip, it works for us.

Eventually, he'd love an '05/'06 GTO, but for now the Camaro will do. :thumbsup2

I drive an 07 Ford Explorer. I drive it because it fits my kids BIG carseat and has a third row for when we have others in the car. Why do they have to make carseats so big? You put one in the car and it takes up it's spot AND the middle spot!

OMG I haven't seen an Eclipse in awhile - what year is it? My very first brand new car was a '91 Eagle Talon - same body as the Eclipse. LOVED that car. Only got rid of it because the baby seat didn't fit in!
Not old enough, it's a 2001. But it's been a wonderful car and I might just pick up a used one. I call it my continual mid-life crisis car. :lmao:

2006 Honda Odyssey -- some say we bought a DVD player and they threw in the van. ;) It's primarily what I drive ever since I decided to stay home with the kids.

2007 Honda Accord -- my wife drives it most of the time. We got annoyed with a number of mechanical issues with our Subaru, so we traded it in last summer and decided to stick with Hondas.

06 Cadillac CTS. We sat in one at Test Track and had to have it. ;)

DH has a 2000 Toyota Tundra that we can't seem to decide if we are going to keep or trade-in. It doesn't get much use since DH has a takehome patrol car.

We drive a Ford Freestyle and love it! My dh is a Ford retiree so we stick with "our" company. :thumbsup2

I drive a Honda CRV - I picked this car because I needed 4 wheel drive (I have to get down miles and miles of dirt road to get to my house, and need 4 wheel drive after it rains).
I choose the Honda over the others because when out car hunting, when going from dealership to dealership to see the different 4 wheel drives the guy at the Saturn place, while promoting the Saturn vehicle, mentioned that it had a Honda engine in it, because they have the best engines in the business. I figured if the Saturn guy thought the Honda engine was that good, that was a pretty strong endorsement for the Honda. I've had it 3 years now and I'm very happy with it.

I drive a 2007 Toyota Solara Convertible Royal Blue with Black top. :car: I chose it because I thought it was cute and still practicle being able to seat and has a good sized trunk. I LOVE THIS CAR!!!!

2006 Scion xB

Affordable
Get's pretty good gas mileage
Has a considerable back seat and cargo room for hauling crud
Comfortable cab for road tripping
It's just so darn cute

2007 Honda Ridgeline

Originally for outdoor adventures - lots of room and comfy seating

Now: my Marin Portofino bicycle

The Ridgeline is a gas guzzler and my roomie has a Honda Element - also perfect for us outdoors geeks. Better gas mileage too!

B/c of her Element, I wish I could trade in the truck for a Fit or some small urban-wise car, but that comes with time.

2008 Acura TL

Love it! This is my 3rd one! It's sporty, comfortable, roomy, sleek but classy and has AWESOME pick-up and handling!!:woohoo:

2002 Yukon XL - because we have 5 kids!

2002 Jeep Liberty - because it is paid for (but gets about the same gas mileage as the Yukon).

2006 Black Chevy Impala with dark black tinted windows. We chose it because there was too much stuff to fix on our '94 Lincoln Towncar before our first baby came! Technically, the car is our 2 year-old's vehicle. :lmao:
We got it in July 2006 and now we need a Suburban. We've got two kids in their carseats, DH, me, and my in-laws that live with us. Plus, I need cargo room with the double stroller and suitcases when we go to Disney (and we go a lot).:thumbsup2

I drive a '93 Honda Accord with 219K on it. I chose it because I got $4500 in insurance money when this kid ran a red light and totalled my car, and I was determined not to go into debt for another car. It was the best car I could find within my budget.

I continue to drive it because I drive over 100 miles round-trip daily, so I just destroy the value of any car I drive. DW drives a very nice 2002 Odyssey and DD18 drives a 2000 Camry that was driven by the proverbial little old lady to and from church--it only had 38K on it when we bought it last summer. But me, I drive the piece of junk that's mechanically sound but has no aesthetic value whatsoever. :)

1994 Dodge Dakota (paid for and still runs good) for communting!

2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 - pulls the camper

DW:

2004 Dodge Neon - great mileage and easy to scoot around town in.

Best thing is they're all paid for!
