Whilst here in Florida Every mornings been the same, we make plans to get up early and hit the parks, all this is good in theory, but my DW, DD1, DD" and baby GD take a long time getting ready so what do others do whilst their family members are getting ready.

believe it or not..watch the weather channel:happytv::rotfl2:

we have a routine, i shower/change first, then dd, i can then do her hair/sun block etc, while the boys and dh get ready (they are much quicker than us:rotfl2:
dh makes coffee while im in the shower so its waiting for me:lovestruc

i also get to have a crafty cigarette as im done first:thumbsup2

this year will be different as we have 2 bathrooms at ssr...so change of order may be necc:eek:

im not too worried about mine getting up/ready as they are v motivated to see MM

I just check out the websites then DW complains saying Im never off the net. You cannot win :lmao:

As DH normally gets up at 3:30am to go to work and the boys and I usually get up at 5:30am to go to work and school getting up and moving in the mornings is really not an issue :lmao::lmao::thumbsup2:thumbsup2

weather on the one's :lmao: love it!!!!!!

we are the same I just hang around waiting as I'm ready first usually, then when we go to get in the car its usually me last as I have to re check everything make sure ive got things like park tickets etc!!!

This is us - DD wakes too early looking for snacks - switches on the daily park hours channel (as if there is a decision to make and it wasn't all decided 7 months before!!!) I shower and dress. Wake DH and DS and let them come round gently for all of five minutes while DD showers and dresses.

Kick DH and DS out of bed - DS showers while DH shaves in vanity outside of bathroom and I watch weather/local news tut tutting at only in America as I see the local news items. By time DH is in shower the rest of us are dressed and suntan lotioned and grumbling so loudly about how hungry we are that he goes quicker than at home.

Three bags prepared with snacks and $$$ for the day and out.

Well I am totally different. I am nocturnal but don't have a problem getting up early. I also get ready at pretty much the same speed as a man does :lmao:. Takes me 5 minutes in the shower and another 5 to get dressed. No make up in the parks and as long as my hair is neat and out of my face it is a losing battle trying to do anything more with it.

DD on the other hand ..... :rolleyes1 I usually start trying to wake her as soon as I wake up. If I am lucky she is sort of getting out of bed by the time I get out of the shower! She is better at Disney because there is an incentive to get up and get going.

If I had to do this with someone else old enough to leave them in the room, I would possibly go and grab our breakfast (and a sneaky ciggie like Tracy ;)) while they got ready.

Well I have normally been up first in previous trips but going with new man (DB) this time who is always up about 6 am anyway. As for DD zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz 5 MORE MINUTES MOM!!!. So I tend to call her at 7 let her have 10 mins then she has 5 mins to come around, quick wash clothes on (as all picked the night before) and then 10 minutes putting socks and crocs/trainers on. She is obsessed with her feet(little as they are). All in all normally at b'fast for around 7.45 and out to the park by 8.30. If we do EMH then we take a snack bar and I tend to book a bfast in the park. Mind you we have a couple of slower days this time so will prob hv a lie in till 9ish as not planning on early starts for aquatica/typhoon lagoon. Have always got there around 10am.Not sure how busy it will be end sept first week oct as never been that time.Anyone know so I can rearrange:confused3

I love watching the weather channel too, we're British it's in the blood

Us too!!! In the mornings, the Weather Channel/WESH is all we watch! In the evenings we tend to watch a few of the other channels as well as the Weather Channel, but the mornings are Weather Channel/WESH only mornings!

I'm usually first up and ready to go before everyone else, with mum a close second and sister last. Ironic really, since my sister on work days can be up, dressed, had breakfast and be out the door in 30mins. Can she do that at Disney? Nope! I, on the other hand, tend to be faster at Disney - I guess because there is less things to distract.

I will usually be up and having shower before mum and sis wake up, although my getting up normally stirs them. I dress and log on to net while they get ready and dressed. I'll be sorting out my bag while mum hops online! Then we just wait for sis to get ready, by which point we've seen about six "Local on the 8's" and I'm yelling 'we better not still be here for the next one'!

May be me and DF don't do so much in one day as everyone else but we don't rush in the mornings we get up when we wake up get showered dressed at a lesiurly speed we have only been for a week together before and we never feel lke we have missed out on anything and get everything done that we want to this year going for two weeks I feel we can really relax and stroll around even more then usual

I am always up way before my sleepy lot so I make coffe, put on the weather channel and surf the net for a bit. Then have first shower while waiting for my teenage lads to get up. I somtimes go out for a wander round resort I love the Mornings in Florida. we dont Usually do many early Mornings as a family as they are all night owls so we are always out late.

We're ging to try and get up and out this time, we managed it at DLP, DH & me up shower dressed whilst kids are coming round to a disney channel then straight off to breakfast.

Might be slightly different this time as we are off site, hoping to get up early so we can see some rope drops but also as we are going for 3 weeks so hoping that w/ends will be sitting round the pool, hot tub and reading.

We normally have the same routine.
I am always up first and will get ready then go down and iron the clothes for everyone. Once I have done that I will make myself a coffee then go and sit by the pool with the laptop and either post a trippie or just check out the times etc of some of the places we are going to over the next couple of days, or just sit and watch the hot air balloons floating over (it is a daily event in the mornings) and the local wildlife.
I love mornings in Florida. :goodvibes

I don't iron on holiday. Maybe that's why I've been single for 7 years. :lmao: My clothes iron themselves in the dryer and I promptly fold them very carefully :rolleyes1

Don't you leave today Tracy? I haven't wished you a wonderful trip yet - hope I'm not too late. :flower3:

tomorrow mate...thanks:cloud9:

When I was in the army ironing was something that you had to be good at - or spend a lot of time doing extra duties as punishment for sloppy creases :lmao:

It's something I have never had an issue doing, and I can do all the clothes for the family for that day in the time it takes Elaine to have her shower.
