What do you 'do' with your towel animals?

Towel animals really are some of the best Disney Magic. We got two or three last year while staying at AKL. We received a bird toothbrush holder, very cute. A single bird, and an awesome canoe with two birds sitting in the canoe paddling. The housekeeper used two Disney pens for paddles and turn down mints for the back brace for the birds. They also used the mints for added decoration.

We just returned from 6 nights at the Polynesian and 7 nights concierge at AKL. Didn't see a single towel animal! Maybe I didn't tip enough $$. I saw them on the mouse keepers carts, but never placed in our room. It's ok; it gives me something to look forward to on our next visit.

I took pictures of our towel animals and left them behind so our Mousekeeper could recyle them and others could enjoy them as much as we did.

I was absolutely amazed to receive towel creations every day last December at Pop Century. We're used to seeing them on DCL's ship, and take lots of pictures of them. One morning just as we were leaving our room at Pop last year, the housekeeper came to clean. She saw a picture of my granddaughter and commented on how cute she is. That day, we found an adorable bird and a Christmas candle. She stopped us outside the room to tell us to take them home to our beautiful grandchild. We did...and she loved them. They sit in a place of honor in our bathroom (she loves to take long baths and showers at Grandma's house).
