Now that the world has gone digital and Disney is releasing movies on DVD/Blue Ray, what is everyone doing with their VHS collections? I have several full collections and am finding it hard to part with them even though my DH and DS buy me each release on Blue Ray when they come available.

I have most of the disney classics which came out on VHS and I still own them for some reason.

My parents have them at their house in their loft. I have no idea why I don't just throw them out as I have most on dvd any way, I think it's purely sentimental reasons - even if i had a VHS player I wouldn't be able to watch the Little mermaid as it started to wear out but it's my all time fave so I feel terrible chucking it lol

I still have them all stacked on a bookshelf in my basement. Some of them were very hard to come by, so I can't really imagine getting rid of them, though it only makes sense...

I remember when my mother was putting the collections together for each of three daughters... She had to search far and wide for some of them. That definitely plays into my holding on. I have offered them to people but, sadly, no takers, even from the childcares and shelters!

My husband call be a hoarder because we do not own a VHS player. (This is the man whom still has his highschool football helmet - ICK!)
