What do you do with your camera/video camera bags while on rides?

Do/can you leave your camera bags with a ride attendant or is it safe just to hold on tight to them on a more "wild" ride such as Rockin' Rollercoaster?
Thanks for any comments or suggestions!

I usually carry a bag with a stap long enought to put my foot in on a ride. Feet stay down and bag won't fly out.

In general, no.

Most rides have enough space at your feet to put your gear down (Cameras should be in a BAG).

Some rides have specific netted bags for you to put your gear in.
It its too big, you can place it at your feet and loop one of your bag's handles around your foot or leg, or you can hold onto the handle during the ride.

On Soarin', if you have a bag too large to fit in the under-seat compartment, (and you are not ALLOWED to hold it on the ride) the CM's will put it over to the side (its a closed and "locked" room during the flight) and you can pick it up as you exit.

I always hang on to everthing. Better to be safe than sorry. I have read too many stories on here of being leaving stuff in the stroller and then come back and it's gone. I bring my backpack on every ride and there is more than ample room.

For RnR make sure you have a bag with a big enough handle to put over your foot, then put the bag on the floor. I keep the other foot on the bag. Haven't ever lost anything yet.

I put my backpack on the floor between my feet & put a foot through the strap. Gravity tends to keep everything in the ride vehicle, so I've never lost anything. I wouldn't want to leave it on the floor before boarding the ride...mainly because, on some rides, you disembark the ride in a different area than you boarded!

:confused3 "Where's my stuff?"

...although I had to ride BTMRR sitting backwards. I love ride photos!!

If I'm in an attraction that I can film, I'll hold onto my video camera or digital camera. If filming is not allowed, I'll put my digital camera/video camera back in their carrying cases, then put them in my backpack. Most attractions have a place to put your bags (under the seat or in front of the seat).
