What do you do with your bag on RnR?

I've never been on a roller coaster with inversions, so I had no problems avoiding RnR until recently (it's calling to me, lol.) :goodvibes
So, now I'm assuming I'll ride it (knowing of course, that the chicken exit exists:lmao:). And I'm wondering how I will handle my bag on that ride. I did a little research and I know there is small storage, but it might not hold my triangular over-one-shoulder big Disney bag. It isn't huge, but it's about the size of half DD's school backpack if you cut it diagonally.

On SM, I (quickly as I can!) put it on the floor and wedge one leg into it and hope I can un-wedge quickly enough at the end of the ride. So far, so good.

Is this my best plan for RnR?

There is a chance I might wind up using the fanny pack or a tiny over the head/shoulder purse instead, and none of this will matter. But I like the big bag because it has a "cell phone" pocket which is very convenient for tickets and/or FP, and its main compartments are big enough to hold the video camera and a bottle of water.

ETA: Mods, feel free to move this to attractions board instead -- I meant to put it there.

I always stick my under my feet and usually put a strap around my ankle. It's probably not going to go anywhere anyways, but I like the extra assurance of knowing that it's around my leg if it does decide to fly off. :thumbsup2

Yup, I put it on the bag and put my leg through the strap. You'll have plenty of time, no worries.

Last year I had my large DSLR camera backpack with the tripod attached to the side. It was our evening for Fantasmic and I wanted to be able to get some good pics (which I did). Anyway... we decided to ride RnRC while we were there and I took that huge bag on the ride with me. I put my leg through the strap and put it between my legs and hugged the bag with my legs during the ride. It didn't go anywhere and everything was fine. I was actually worried that a CM would tell me I couldn't take it on the ride, but they didn't say anything.

Thanks, all!
Looks like the leg through the strap method wins! :cool1:

I stick my leg through the strap, then put the bag behind my legs on the floor of the ride vehicle. I have never felt like it was slipping - the inversions are really quick.

Agree!!! Slip your foot through the strap and keep your foot firmly on the floor of the car. I was worried about this the first time but it's such a smooth ride and the bag just stuck to the floor through the inversions.
(i almost chickened out but glad i didn't :goodvibes )
After the first time I haven't worried about it since.

Yes, put your leg through a strap. And don't chicken out! It's a great ride!!
