What do you do with your backpack when...

In answer to the "holding onto the bag and the toddler" question, I had a small backpack, with the strap aroung my leg, a bit to the side on my lap and the 35lb child squarely on my lap. We ended these rides in the same position we began.

On the wilder rides (Thunder and Splash Mountain) he had to sit on the seat beside me anyway. Of course my arm was free to be around him the whole time.

I have plans to carry a drawstring backpack to DW. I'm wondering what I will do with the backpack while I am riding rides, such as Space Mountain, or Rocking Roller Coaster, because I will have the camcorder and camera in it. Also will it be a pain to get our tickets out of all the time for fastpasses? Can you tell it's our first time?

I put it on - but in front of me, instead....

or the one arm through one handle, and around your neck thingee.... works fine.

Leaving your things unattended?!?!? I wouldnt take a chance, just so you dont have to carry it on a ride ??? No way....

when you are boarding the wilder rides, is there a shelf or somewhere to put the backpacks, like hand it to the cm and then get it when ride is over. this way you can carry it up to the ride and is not left out in the stroller parking and is easier acceable to grab? thanks

No. Only on some rides (Soarin, Mission Space) is there a compartment to put your items. I took on the backpack to all rides (didn't ride Splash Mountain) with camera and food and no problems. Plenty of room to keep it or store between your feet. Even RnR and Space Mountain.

I ALWAYS carry a backpack around with me. It's not really a pain to get out tickets, fast passes, cameras, etc. I did as someone said above or on the other page, I stuck it between my feet on rides and it was fine.

You may want to think about getting an Id holder you can wear around your neck. Something that has pockets so you can put your money and tickes in so you don't have to keep diging in your bag.There is plenty of room to store your bag at your feet just remember to keep zipers closed and put one off your feet through the arm whole of your bag to be sure it does not fall out
