We are HOPING DS is potty trained by the time we sail, however if he is not (he will be just 3) and we want dinner at Palo's what are our options for him?
Mine was barely three, but potty trained. We made our reservation for Palos around bedtime. We are from CA, so bedtime was 6PM FL time!! DD fell asleep in the club and we got a pager to take with us.
If you make the appt. with Flounders, make it ASAP! They can book up over popular times, esp. by other parents going to Palos!
If you put your kid in the Club, make sure you tell the Counselors that you are going to Palo. They will make a note and try as hard as they can not to page you while you are there.
edited to add - when we were at Palo for dinner, the captain was entertaining a small group of people there - at the big table in the center of the room. We were sitting a bit closer to the door.
Two kids (probably 10 and 8) came into the restaurant looking for their parents. Our server (Kris) stopped them two feet away from their parents' table and made them wait outside while he gave a message to their folks. I guess Palo is strict about their no kids policy - especially when the captain is in the house.
