What do you do when you see a Detour sign?

Aidensmom, you must live right up the road from my sister's house. I remember seeing the police cars by that sinkhole the weekend it opened up. My sister was telling me that idiots in her neighborhood keep moving the barricades and she hopes one of them fall in!

I definitely follow the detour signs. I would hate to deal with the problems I could face if I didn't.

This sinkhole opened up the Friday or Saturday before Easter.....

When I got home from work yesterday, I noticed the barricades had all been put back properly again, and amazingly they stayed that way all night. This morning a car almost hit the fire hydrant on the corner trying to go around them though.
