What do you do when you bring a guest?

Our 13 yr old DD is bringing a friend with us to OKW next May. I'm alittle confused about Park tickets since we always us AP's.

We have two days of travel time and 8 days to enjoy WDW. We are also DC members. It looks like hopper passes only go up to 5 days. Are the length of stay passes the best option for our guest? Her parents are paying for the park tickets and airfare and we cover anything else. So we want to make sure we tell them the most cost efficient way to get her tickets.

If you've had experience with your own guests, I'd appreciate your input!

While there are 7 day Hopper passes available, unless you are going to spend time at non-Disney venues and won't go to a water park, PI or DQ- the UPH with 10% DVC discount is probably the way to go.

Here is a link to <a href="http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tickets.htm">ticket prices</a> at WDW.

Just do the math for how you will use the passes. If you won't go into the Disney parks every day- the hopper may be best. If you will, I suspect the UPH will most cost effective.

Enjoy!

Thanks Doc! That was exactly the info I was looking for! I'd forgotten about the DVC discount, even better.

But don't forget that you can go to PI and the water parks on the 7 day hopper. It allows for 4 separate entries for that purpose. There is also a discount from Disney Club on the park hopper.
Assuming that you have one that is still valid at that point.

The other thing is...8 days is the "break even" point on AP's. If you know you are going into the parks every day maybe an AP is the best thing for your guest. That would give her parents a little incentive to return within a year.
