What do you do to calm down when you're angry?

It depends on where I'm at and what's bugging me off.
Like, yesterday I was at an ice-skaing rink, and my friend said something totally off par that got me pretty steamed up. I just skated away kept a pretty fast pace.

If I'm at school or something, I rant to my friends.
If I'm really angry at home, I'll go play piano.
 
I play piano, too at home when I'm angry or stressed.
Unfortunately, since I suck so much, I get more frustrated and upset sometimes xD
 
Depends on whats wrong. I sometimes go for a run, and other times I vent to my friends. And sometimes I play tennis; strong powerful strokes make me feel better
 

Okay I'll be the ungracious one who admits they have not yet found a greater way to deal with anger than taking it out on somebody else (or the surrounding objects). I'm sorry to say it but when you get me angry you have to deal with screaming, stomping, flying objects and eventually tears.
 
Sometimes I run, but most times I get in my car and drive really fast to nowhere in particular.
 
I like to just go in my room and be alone


sometimes I'll take a piece of paper and write down everything bothering me just to get it off my chest




If im not at home I like to listen to music
 
Music.
I can be steaming angry, but the second I listen to music all my troubles are gone.

Very rarely I'll get so steamed I need to take an Ativan, which is a muscle relaxant/anti-emetic. If I take 1 mg I'm out for the night.
 
Distract myself: Watch a movie. Listen to music. Sleep.
I'm pretty good at forgetting things I don't want to remember.
 
At school I'll close my eyes, count to ten, and then walk away.
At home I'll go exercise, watch a movie, take a shower, listen to music or all of the above.
When I'm at somewhere where I can't do any of the above I think about something good that is coming up.

I haven't found that one thing that calms me down, it's mostly a mixture.

When I get angry at home, I usually punch a pillow or open up microsoft word on my laptop and just write "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" a million times. (:

If I'm at school, I blast music.
 
it depends what the situation is.
if i want to punch someone or kick them in the balls i slowly breathe in and breathe out and count to ten in my head.
if my dad makes me mad, i'll call my mom.
if that doesn't work i'll shut my door and start crying, then listen to music.
those are about the only times i get mad.
 
I have a playlist of songs on my iPod that when I listen to them, it helps me chill out
 
I talk to my friends.
I watch funny McFly videos to make me laugh.
I yell a lot.
I listen to music really loudly.
 
If I'm at home normally I show a little bit of my anger for the like a second maybe say grr... or something then just get over it and suck it up...
At school I normally try to take a deep breath and move on but if its making me really angry like never ending friendship drama sometime I just break down into tears yes I know I'm pretty pathetic
