our plane leaves about 5pm (what time do we need to leave for the airport using me?)
we probably will have used all our theme park tickets. I was thinking maybe a water park because we have the hopper plus option.Or maybe a special last brunch our adrs already include
CM
CP
CRT
Cali Grilll
Coral Reef
50s prime time
H & V
do Bomas or Ohanas have a brunch?
maybe shop at DTD any places there do brunch??
thanks

We end up looking for a cheap hotel to get "one" more day of magic in... we drive so leaving time is just an advisory, not set in stone for us! :)

I would say, use the plus to go to the Water Park or Disney Quest and then head off to the airport. They say allow 2-3 hours before flight, but we have never flown out of MCO before, so I couldn't tell you that for sure.

We leave out of MCO all the time - we just left there about 2 weeks ago. It took us about 1 hour before we actually got to the terminal to wait for the plane. The most time took walking everywhere (airport is huge - and if you are flying us airways the terminal is at the end of the airport and I mean the end) and getting thru security took about 1/2 hour due to the waiting. But all in all it was ok. We usually do DTD - get the shopping done. I usually try to go when we first get there and check out everything and then shop alittle during the time we are there. Then with the money we have left over from meals and our spending money we have a blast shopping, walking around and just relaxing at DTD.

We sleep in, have a nice breakfast and finish shopping at DTD

We usually stay 2 weeks since we only go to Orlando once a year (alternating between WDW and UO/BGT). We leave the last day of our trip wide open. We use it as a make up day if we have any wash out days because of rain or illness. If it turns out that we had no wash outs, we just swim at the resort and then hit a few attractions at MK. We let our kids (6 and 7) pick two rides each.

We sometimes do one last breakfast -- Cape May or Boma. Sometimes we like to hit MK one more time when we have APs. Then we hang about our resort pool until it's time to leave for the airport. I try to fill the rental car with gas the night before.

we usually leave the last day to shop and goof around at Downtown Disney. You can get some great pictures in the toy shop :wizard:

Same thing here! Since we fly and airlines are notorious for not serving meals anymore, we always fill up on a big breakfast. We;ve had Cape May Cafe character breakfast, Boma's, Yacht Club Galley, heck-we even ate Ghiardelli's one day (around 11:00).

We shop at DTD and just mope around because we have to go back to the real world. The last day is the worst!

Cry.

We pack the night before and get an early start for MK. Everyone gets to pick a favorite ride. As we leave, the boys start telling the attractions goodbye. Goodbye Tiki Birds, goodbye Pirates, goodbye Haunted Mansion... and they thank the CMs for another magical trip.

If the day is a washout we have breakfast at 1900 then head to DTD to do alittle more shopping.

Our flight to Pittsburgh usually leaves MCO at 5:20 so ME picks us up at 2:30.

My experience with ME is that they pick you up about three hours before your flight. This can vary but we always had at least two, but once three resorts on the bus. So, you may be on the bus for a while before you get to the airport.

You can go to a water park, but unless you get late check out, you'll have to shower and change at the water park. Shopping and eating at DTD is fun, as is DQ if you have the plus options. Or a special meal at one of the resorts, maybe go on a monarail tour of the MK resorts.

We are leaving on ME and have to catch the bus at 1:00 so we will sleep in and finish packing....we have an ADR for Ohana's for breakfast at 9:30 so the 2 DGD's can say goodbye to Mickey!!!! They say they will cry all the way to the airport!!!!!

We fly most of the time now, and we always have a late flight home, so we go to MK for a while and if we have time we go to 1 of the other parks also. If we drive, and we used to do this all the time, and still do occasionally, we still go to MK because we don't usually leave till early evening. That is where we make the decision to stay 1 more night and try to get a room. We have always been successful at Pop or All Stars. We just can't stand leaving, so we try and stretch the magic 1 more day.

Michele

We normally start and end our trip with going to MK to see our favorite park. Do the special things to hold us over until the next trip. Its always a difficult time leaving that park knowing we are headed home. We try not to do any shopping that last day, we want to have all our bags packed and stored for the trip to the airport. Going to the MCO we ususally go 2 1/2 hr early, getting to the US Air security check in, then going thru security check takes about 1/2 to 3/4 hr , it takes forever to get to your gate. Then we'll just sit and relax talking about the good times.

We pack the night before and go to MK for one last time. I hate walking up Main Street for the monorail on the final day. Always have tears in my eyes.

That's what we do too! :thumbsup2

Yep! We always try to hit MK (if not EMH) one last time! Or we milk my dad into letting us stay one more night, it's not too difficult! haha :cool1:
