What do you do if DVC overcharges you on points?

Do you have your reservation confirmation letter? If so, does it show 108 points or 133? If it's got the correct 108 points on it, I'd scan that into an email and send it as well. Good luck.
I'm not sure if I have the letter or not still. At any rate, they seem to have acknowledged that I was shorted points -- it just that they didn't seem to "fix it right." I wrote to them again & am waiting to hear back. Thanks!

They had erroneously checked me out 4 days ahead of schedule. Talk about what we had to do to get checked back in. ....
Yikes! Glad they eventually straightened it out -- and the one day free only seems fair.

I think this shows why DVC is not ready for online booking. If it's this messed up with member services doing the work, can you imagine if members started playing with their accounts? DVC has too many variables, it's not just like booking a regular room.

I had a long conversation with a manager at MS on Friday.

We added a few days to our reservation and at the end of the call the Advisor quoited me points used as 40 less than I had figured. I brought it to her attention and we reviewed the numbers again. She agreed that the computer was 40 points off. I told her to forget about it and let me keep the 40 extra points. She ended up transferring my call to a manager who had to manually adjust our account to get it corrected.

The Manager told me that if we had not corrected the points we might have had days canceled from our reservation by the computer when they run a balance checking program.

I told her that we have lost all confidence in the MS computer system. She apologized and said that they hope to get things fixed eventually. :scared1:

Raise your hand if you read this thread and immediately went to double check your points and reservations. :wave2:

I agree. Everytime I am questioned about wanting to book online I say "No thanks" I want to talk to a person and confirm what I've done.
