What do you do if a buyer makes a duplicate payment ?

I just noticed a buyer has made a duplicate payment to me through paypal, should I just do a refund ? will paypal take off the fees that they charged me for the duplicate ? has anyone had this happen before ?? I tried finding the answer in paypal, but I dunno, I think it went right over.....

My bf made a duplicate payment last week. He got his money back minus the paypal fees.

As long as you do it through refund, and not just send back the money, there will be no cost to anyone. Yep, I get double payments here and there.

This happened to me last week. I sent the money back through the refund button on the paypal invoice page. Just make sure you have funds in your account to cover the refund. I've actually had buyers send me duplicate money orders in the mail!
