OK so for me its popcorn, pretzels - once I get started I find it hard to stop
For others it may be carbolite bars
Ive tried soda but I find I want a cup of something to pick at

So you snackers out there - what do you snack on at night and how do you STOP?

Lately it has been fruit popsicles. I find my snacks change as I get burned out on things.

I change mine often too, but lately I have been trying to eat fruit/milk products for my extra snack time points. I try to eat the fruit at work, and save the milk products for my evening snacks. I usually have a lot of points left at night (not always, but more often at not) and especially since I started the flext points.

FF Stoneyfield farm yogurt 2.5 points (30% calcium)

1 oz cheese 2% fat 2 pts (20% calcium)

Milk 1 cup FF (25% calcium)

1 slice of high fiber bread (I like pepperidge farms dark German bread) 1.5 points

1 tbsp all natural peanut butter with salt - 2 points - I put this on the above bread and have it with the milk

Last night, I had so many points left because I had a chicken salad for dinner and a salad for lunch that I had all of the above plus 2 prunes for my snack. I felt very satisfied going to bed!

I stop when I have no points left. I usually don't have a problem.

We use pork rinds...with a little cheese (gouda, cheddar).

Hubby uses a little tabasco on the rinds sometimes also.

Sometimes is a diet vanilla coke..sometimes with pellagrino.

I have a Starbucks Mocha Frappacino bar (Frozen). They are only two points and really make me smile! :)

SF FF cherry Jello.

I hate Jello as a rule, but it satisfies my sweet tooth and that's all that matters

Mine also varies depending on my mood and what I have in the house. Lately it has been low-fat ice cream bars. DH picked up a box the other day for us and each one is only 3 pts. It has been nice to have ice cream since it has been so hot here.

I do the same with the popcorn, pretzels, and wow chips.

Every night, I have a baby cone with sprinkles from Dairy Queen. I've become addicted to the darn things.

Sometimes I'll eat a can of non-starch vegetables.

Sometimes I'll find some low-point candies. I like Twizzlers, the low-carb russell stovers I mentioned in the other thread.

I also buy a kellogg's variety pack of cereal. All of the boxes are 1 or 2 points, and those are GREAT snacks.

For low carb'ers like me...you can't beat macadamia nuts. Or sometimes home-made chicken salad. Just a couple of spoonfuls.

A few slices of cheese for a change.

It is hard to stop. I try to eat dinner a little later so I' m not as hungry. I also drink a couple of glasses of water in the evening to fill up (this does cause me to wake up early if I drink too much or too late).

For me, it's a SKINNY COW!!! I have to say, I just love 'em.:p

I'm really boring! I just have a cup of coffee.

I like that 94% fat free microwave kettle corn (4 pts. for whole bag), Skinny Cows (2 pts. each), and Edy's Whole Fruit Peach Popsicles (2 pts. each).

I think Skinny Cow is a low fat ice cream treat on a stick :p

My favourites are Skinny Chips and Hershey Tastetations (chocolate flavour)!

Skinny Cow is best known for its 2-point, 130-calorie ice cream sandwiches, which come in a variety of flavors. I just discovered them myself, and the mint sandwiches are absolutely fabulous! They also make ice cream sundae cups and ice cream bars.

Check out http://www.skinnycow.com/ for more information.

I usually am craving some sweetness at night, so I grab a skinny cow sandwich or maybe a Barq's root beer float pop. I found these at Costco; they're a swirl of root beer "sorbet" and vanilla ice cream, in a squeeze tube. Only 90 calories for a tube, and hits the spot! I also push the water - when I get hungry, I have a bottle of water first, then have the treat.

Nancyj, you have to try a skinny cow fudge bar or ice cream sandwich--most of the grocery stores around us in Bucks carry them now. They are so creamy and delicious and have no nasty aftertaste. Don't know, though, if they'd fit with an Atkins diet.
Not sure of the carb count.

In my freezer at the moment are chocolate peanut butter sandwiches and the fudgecicles. I set aside 2 pts. every day so I can have one. Knowing that it was going to be my treat the other day kept me from the yummy goodies at the OC boardwalk!

Go to skinnycow.com and they'll send you some coupons.

Does anyone know the carb count? I'll be heading to Ocean City, NJ, on Monday for a few days...they'd be great if they didn't have many carbs, but it's probably too good to be true.

Thanks for the info. I checked out their website for the nutritional information. Too many grams of sugar.

I haven't been eating any sugar or flour and try to stay away from as many carbs as possible. The products sound great, though.
