I am trying to figure out (in my own very obsessive way) what to do about breakfast for the major park days. RFC is a definite but don't seem to see many breakfast menus except characters ( husband gave me a longggggggg laugh when I mentioned going to one, just the 2 of us this trip, but may "sneak" in the cape may)staying at POR and will do that on the "off" days but would like something different. are the resorts way busy? does anyone go to early admission then breakfast after in that park or is that asking for crowds. what park res. offer breakfast worth the money? any help will be appreciated. Thanks

You know, my honey and I don't have kids and travel alone to WDW and I never feel odd about going to see the characters.

I loved the Ice Cream Social and I can't wait to try Chef Mickey's!
I guess it's just the toddler in me. lol

I think you got your answers in the thread posted by the other lady. Have a great time! Mickey

Kona's at the Poly...... great food, relaxing , great lunch too.....but the tonga toast in the am is to die for........

Are you looking specifically for something in a resort or at the parks? Sit down or counter service?
We often do something quick at one of the bakeries in each of the parks if we don't eat in our room:
Main Street in MK
Fountainview, Norway or France in EPCOT
Starring Rolls at MGM
Or they might even have a little cart with coffee and pastries right at the entrance sometimes. We also have done an early morning admission then made a PS for breakfast later. Depending on the time of year this can be a good way to avoid the crowds.

There aren't many sit down restaurants serving breakfast at each of the parks. If you're going to MK, I'd try one of the monorail resorts. 1900 Park Fare at GF is one of our favorites but also a character meal. If you're going to EPCOT, tour the right side of FW then duck out the back entrance to one of those resorts. Cape May at BC is good (also characters).

Don't know if Tony's at MK or Garden Grill at EPCOT are still serving breakfast but those are a couple we've tried and liked.

Oh, and Trail's End at Ft. Wilderness is supposed to be really good and inexpensive. We're going to try that next. :D

I'm obsessive about little details too so if I can help you work this out further let me know! ;)

thanks very much.,,looking for something in the parks...I didn't know if France( my absolute favorite bakery) or Norway would be open yet. a couple of days we were going to split a q/c voucher at lunch and I thought just pastry might not be enough, although we could just buy more stuff at lunch if we are hungry. we usually do a nice lunch or breakfast on vacation and a snack for the other but I couldn't remember what if anything was open in the early am (in the parks)

Yes, I always forget about WS opening later. :o
We usually go later in the day to EPCOT. Not much availability out there for a sit down at the parks during breakfast hours. Hope you find something to satisfy you!
