What do you do at night?

Have you considered Halloween Horror Nights?

I already bought length of stay park to park tickets. I don't see an option to buy the HHN tickets without doing it as an add-on. Do you know how much that would cost or where I can see that information? I was trying to avoid having to spend another $300.00 to stay late one night. If it's reasonable we might do that.

the hhn ticket sales have not gone live yet.

there is a promo for those booking SF as a package for hhn.
it includes one non peak night ticket if i remember correctly.

if you bought your tickets directly from UO, you can call to buy the hhn add on ticket.
all they need to process your request is your order number for the day tickets.

if you bought from a 3rd party vendor, you can still buy the add on tickets when you are in the park.

anyone with a day ticket can buy the discounted add on ticket.
also, the hhn ticket does not have to be for the night you are in the park during the day.
just need to show you have a ticket for the day parks and you are eligible to purchase the discount hhn tix for any date.

Hope you make it. Both parks are open till 10 pm. Enjoy.

We are back in the parks and having a great time.

We made it back, but didn't accomplish much. Considering upgrading tickets and coming back sometime in the year.

Thanks. I'm not interested but I'd get tickets for the girls if they wanted to go, and I can go soak in the hot tub by myself. :)

I haven't been to Universal for a few years, but we went on our Honeymoon and used at least one or two nights to check out the other hotels. I don't think we made it to the Hard Rock, but both Portofino and Royal Pacific have beautiful scenery and a number of places to relax, grab a snack, etc. If you're family is so inclined, Cabana Bay has, among other amenities, a bowling alley. Between those things, mini-golf, and the various pools, you should probably find your evenings rich but relaxing.

When we were there in Jan, the parks closed at 7-8 every night, and it was too cold to swim (the one night it was warm enough, it rained and they closed the pool.) I will say, we were bored out of our minds, and it made me think twice about going in January again.

This is exactly what I'm worried about. That Karaoke thing (Rising Star) sounds like a lot of fun. I can't understand why something like that would be 21+, when there is so little to do at night.

We are not into things like BMG or dancing on the sidewalk at Citywalk. Minigolf, movies, bowling are not vacation activities to me- we have that here. Minigolf maybe because it's at least outside.

I've gotten some good ideas here though and will be prepared to just relax at night. Ice cream, dive in movies, shopping, checking out other resorts, etc...
