What do you do as a build up to your Disney trip?

I only visit WDW every couple of years (first world problem) and because of that I am incredibly excited come 2 months before my trip. I like to build up to my trip by;
-Watching Disney films (DUH)
- Coming on the DIS, pretty much, every day
- Watching Vlogs and YouTube Video's

I have now over done the above, in anticipation for my vacation in 2 weeks time, and need another means of quenching my thirst for all things WDW related.

How do you guys do it?

Also- Are there any good Vlogs i may have missed

Youtube, reading Food Blogs about my reservations, finding small things to go that no one else seems to know about. Looking back at old trip photos to see the things we really enjoyed

Youtubers we've been watching include thetimtracker, seeyarealsoon, and krispysmore. All three are quite fun and seeyarealsoon and very laidback and carefree and not playing up to the camera like some others!

Besides obsessive planning on the DIS??? I read Josh@easywdw. I also follow a bunch of Disney sites on Twitter, Kermit is even on there...

We are now just under 30 days, which is about where my restlessness starts. I'll have the butterflies in my tummy for the next month as I get more anxious about the trip-fully awake at least an hour earlier than normal. So I use some of that energy to start getting/keeping the house all neat and tidy. I'll start organizing my items and clothes for the trip. I usually don't pack until a couple of days before the trip, but I do have a Disney box that holds the things I want to take-toiletries, ponchos, first aid items, camera and chargers, etc.. We travel down once a year and I have shorts and Disney tees (too many!) that are just for the trip, so I'll get those out and decide on which ones to take. I make a checklist for packing and to do list for pre trip things-post office, pets, house sitter notes, shopping list.

This weekend will be all Disney movies with my DS and his DGF who are both going on the trip-will be fun. I just started watching the Youtube and Vlogs, those are a wonderful way to build up a trip-Seeyareelsoon is the best I think. And of course I stalk the Dis like a crazy person because if there is Disney news I need to know on my trip - this will be the place to find it. A few years ago we took DS and his best friend. His friend wanted to see Jack and Sally, I told him they only do meet and greets at Disneyland. About a week before the trip there was an announcement that they would be at DTD for the opening of Frankenweenie-I would have never have known that if it weren't for these boards and we would have missed it completely.

Buying new Disney clothes! (Although I'm not supposed to be doing that! My wardrobe has got more and more Disney-fied over the past 18 months!)

Noted noted and NOTED! All great ideas and I will be checking out the suggested VLOGS on line tonight.

i get married just before our trip (honeymooning in WDW) and i have done more planning for WDW than the wedding, over the past month or so anyways :)

So I guess a more accurate answer to the question is, "I get in petty arguments with people I don't know."
Gotta love the internet! Now that people are relatively bored of cat videos, this is the new "way of the web"

Yesterday I cleaned out my suitcase for upcoming trip and found a bunch of Disney World bags. I was contemplating what I should with them. Using as garbage liners seems to be such a waste because they're so nice and you can't see them so I put them over garbage can instead.
Sometimes when the wait seems too long , I just cross out Saturdays and Sundays on my calendar.
You'll have no idea what weekend appointments you have but you will be mentally much closer to Disney World.

Ha - we go in December and I was putting away baseball spikes in my son's closet and saw a Stitch and a Yeti stuffed animal from previous trips and put them on his bed (he is 17). He said - "what are these doing here." And my response was - "lifting your spirits for your first day of school tomorrow - Disney is only 4 months away."

Also, since we go over the holidays - I always do a little "sweep" of stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, etc. when I'm out shopping for Disney themed stocking stuffers and small gifts. I've already scored some t-shirts, princess washcloths (for my teenage sons - because I have no daughters and I know I'll get a good laugh and eye roll), princess body wash (same reason as previously stated), Mickey coffee cup for the DH, etc.

We have a large library of home vids spanning 1999 to present, 2004 alone is 8 hrs. We watch them in the run up to our trip. Over the last few years we've trailed off on the filming, our plan is to do more filming this Oct. I bought a pair of sunglasses with an HD video cam hidden between the lenses, takes 30 mins of sound video per battery charge, we should catch a lot of reality video without having to think about it.

I plan what we are going to wear, which usually includes me buying myself a few new dresses from www.modcloth.com. All my family photos from Disney in the 80's include us all wearing ugly clothes that clash terribly so I try to avoid that now. :)

Plan plan plan. Order GG. Redo fp about a billion times. Set up dinner shows and adrs. Look at pics from last year. Get out the trip checklist. Set up the travel bag. Don't forget the sunscreen and first aid kit. Add moleskin.
