What do you do about breakfast?

BUT.....you're staying at the Paradise Pier. No food court & no cheap quick breakfast places.
Actually the Surfside Lounge does have pastries/coffee/juice starting at 6:30am. It's by no means a food court and not as good as WWS but it's something.

We did the PP-DL "stroll"....walked thru the GCH..... & out into DTD & then on to DL. The best 1/2 mile stroll in the world.....thru the prettiest hotel....& thru a cool outdoor shopping mall (if you're into that sort of thing)....on a pretty & crisp morning.....& on to the most magical place on earth.
Great highlight! I wanted to make sure that didn't go unnoticed... :thumbsup2

There's also RiverBelle Terrace at the junction of New Orleans Square, Frontierland, and Adventureland (I'm sure it's just in ONE of those places, but I see it as being at the junction); they are the only place to get Mickey Mouse pancakes! So it was a MUST do last trip for DS. :)

Breakfast at the RiverBelle Terrace is a DL tradition in my family and is a MUST at least once per trip. The Mickey Pancakes haven't changed at all as long as I've been going (That I can tell at least).

If we drive I usually eat a Costco Muffin. If we fly I usually eat the cheap hotel fare and some cereal in the room.

We take muffins or other breakfast foods, or we eat our free continental breakfast served at our hotel. Depending on where we stay of course. :) We also like to do RiverBelle Terrace breakfasts, they are good and we can get 2 plates and all 4 of us are full. WWS is very good, we had 2 breakfasts and shared there as well. :) We can't afford concierge level anywhere so that's out for us and we go a lot so we generally stay at the HoJo and take muffins to eat. :)

Last time we went to DL, we stayed at the Embassy Suites. They do a complimentary full, hot breakfast in the morning. Prior to that we've stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites (next door to the Embassy Suites) and took advantage of their continental breakfast.

Lots of the resorts around DL have some kind of breakfast offering you can take advantage of.

My favorites are:

River Belle Terrace in Disneyland
Storyteller's Cafe (Character Breakfast) at Disney's Grand Californian
Lilo & Stitch (Character Breakfast) at Paradise Pier Hotel
Tomorrowland Terrace in Disneyland
Mimi's Cafe on Harbor Boulevard

Thanks for your responses everyone!!

If I am saying at PPH, is there any fast food resturant near PPH, that is not part of Disney? Like a McDonals or something?

I know there is McDonalds on Harbor Ave, but is there anything closer?

My favorite is Jamba Juice on DTD. The juices and some of their bready things are good for breakfast and they also offer yougurt and granola and things now too.

La Brea has a sit down area and a quick serve counter that I love. We usually stop in for a bagel, maybe a piece of fruit and coffee here because its easy and pretty good. I know they also offer other hot foods and breakfast sandwhichs as well.

Besides La Brea and Jamba Juice there really isn't any fast food between the hotels and the parks. You would actually have to pass the parks to get to the fast food.

Can I just say, coffee and beignets make a VERY yummy breakfast!!!

No time for breakfast! Just gulp down some water in the shower and you're set for the morning!

Not without walking in the wrong direction.

As jlmarr mentioned, there's a little carry out section in the PP bar area. & an expensive sit down restaurant where Stich & friends cavort.

In the GCH (which is on your way) there's a casual sit down & take out place (whitewater snacks) & as others mentioned there might be a couple of breakfast options as you walk thru DTD to the DL front gate.

But....if you're an early riser (going to MM) some of these might not be open. Which is why we opted to split the $12-$14 breakfast meal that room service provided. (we would have dropped at least that at whitewater or at a DTD joint).

No McDs or Dennys nearby, so storing stuff in your room fridge (or splitting a room service meal) are good options for early morning at the PP.
