What do you dislike the most about your age group?

Boomer here, I dislike that people my age complain about gen xers and millennials when we were the ones that raised them. Yes I am guilty of this too.

What do I hate about my generation (43 next month)? How did some people become the "parents" they are (helicopters, can't be bothered to parent or discipline, everything their child does is AMAZING!!!!, etc) considering how the majority of us were raised? It is seriously mind boggling to me.

I'm 34 but still feel 25. My group of friends and family that I hang out with on a regular basis is 25-45 and we have a ball. We also like to drink to cope with our issues but no ones an alcoholic. Lol

I guess mine would be the helicopter parents. My kid farts rainbows and sunshine type moms.

I have an almost 18 year old son so I don't know what generation to put myself in.

But I don't have grandkids yet... And I can still see.

I guess the thing that currently irritates me the most about my age group is being sandwiched between the Baby Boomers & the Millennials.

Yeah, apparently we're the nobody generation. No one talks about us.

I'm in my late 20s. I hate some of the entitlement/laziness my age group has but let's be real - that exists in any age group!

I find dating via apps weird and I'm not about "hookup culture." Of course, it's really not my business. So, whatever.

I also really dislike the habit many parents my age have of being on their phones and ignoring their kids. I see it mostly at restaurants. I get it - it's nice to have a moment of peace and quiet but I think it's rather sad.

I'm in my early 30's. I despise the celeb culture. I have friends that will say something like "Did you see what Khloe wore last night?" And I'm like do I know a Khloe? And it turns out they meant some TV trash. I hated Jersey Shore, the Bachelor/Bachelorette, American Idol, Survivor, etc. I can't get emotionally invested/interested in the lives of people I have never/will never meet.

YES! It's like all of a sudden everyone was in a competition to be the rudest, loudest, most scantily clad, most outrageous. Whatever happened to being nice and taking pride in having class?
