I was listening to the radio during lunch and they were polling listeners as to how old they were and what did they considered old. It was interesting.

I'm 46 and I would say 80 is old.

I'll give youthe old cliche, Being old is a state of mind. I believe this. I used to think 30 was old, but now that I'm almost there, maybe 60 is old. But it depends completely on the person s attitude.

I consider 70+ old, but by the time I hit 30 I won't be considering myself young either!

I think it depends on the individual. My lawyer is 81 years old and looks more like 60. He works fulltime, golfs, and just went to Turkey on vacation. My aunt is 45 and looks 100 years old (actually, she looks like she has been dead for a week- all those drugs she does).

Round 80. My gramma is old. Her body is starting to fail her, and her memory is going. Basically, she's having all signs of old age. Which I find just horrible because well.... in my mind, she's not supposed to get old. lol Gramma is always supposed to stay exactly as she was when I was a kid. *winks*

It really does depend on the person. My SO is 52, and he is a 3X blackbelt and in great shape. No one believes his age when he tells them. So I guess over 90 is old! :)

I would say that age is a state of mind. I have met many people in their 80's who I would not consider "old", and I have met many people in their 20's who act like they are 100.

Depends on the person. My mother was always old to me. She always acted old, thought old, etc. My maternal grandmother died at 94 and I never thought of her as old even though she walked with a limp, had white hair, and crinkles (crinkles are wrinkles caused by smiling). My dad was 11 years older than my mother and he always seemed younger than she did. So, I agree, old is definitely a state of mind.

I'm 33 and would say anything over 80 is old.

Typically I think of old as 30+ yrs older than my current age. I remember thinking 25 or 30 was old and so on. I don't think most people consider themselves old.

My grandma turned "old" at 89. Before that she was mowing her own lawn and bossing everyone around. Now, she is in AC, and cannot get by withou substantial help.

My grandma to me always symbolized what was old..and she was 70 when I was born, so by the time I started thinking about old-she was in her 80s.

She died when she was a couple months shy of her 98th birthday(which is today! Happy 103rd Gram!), so to me 92,93 and up is old.

My Gram worked until her late 80s(out of want not need) drove until around 95 and was raring to go all the time.

I think it depends on the people. Some people are old at 60 others at 70. I have no problem hanging out on a regular basis with a 30,40, 45, 50, 53 year old because some can be really hip and cool and not act like some 90 year old geezer (not being rude). It really depends on the person, I can some people can be a 40 year old geezer. It's all about mindset I guess.

If you watch GSN and you are catching up on the amazing race reruns, the gutsy gramas seem like fun!
